History
Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars
The toy activates itself without input from the player and starts marching onward, interacting with other elements the same way a normal Mini would. However, Cursed Mini Marios are harmful to other Minis and can destroy them on contact, resulting in a Game Over. They are also impervious to enemies, long-distance jumps, and spikes, on which they are able to walk normally. As shown in Level B-14, Thwomps come to a stop when they hit a Cursed Mini Mario. A Cursed Mini Mario can be turned back into a normal Mini Mario if attacked with a Hammer, Cannon launch, or a slide, after which the Minis can advance to the door as usual.
Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge
In Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge, a Cursed Mini Mario can be seen in the background of an in-game advertisment for Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars.
