Blue Lifts are objects in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars. They are a series of platforms that constantly move up or down, transporting the Minis from one platform to another. Once a Mini steps in front of a Blue Lift, it is immediately carried in its assigned direction by one of its moving platforms. Enemies ignore Blue Lifts.

Blue Lifts can only be traced vertically between two blue rivets, using the touchscreen. They are a resource item, meaning that the player needs to have a certain number of pieces to build a Blue Lift from one rivet to another. In order to remove and collect pieces from one place, the player has to tap a rivet that is adjacent to one or two Blue Lifts. Objects called Lift Pickups appear in some levels with Blue Lifts, which give more Blue Lift pieces upon being collected by the Minis. A large variation of Lift Pickups appear as well, granting the player five pieces instead of only one. Blue Lifts are introduced in Dashing Desert, where they form the principal mechanic, and continue to appear in subsequent worlds.

In all of these regards, including them appearing in the fifth world, Blue Lifts are analogous to Blue Ladders from Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!
