What's happened at the Banjo/Conker proposal, User:Ultimatetoad added two more option choices, the proposer (Son Of Sun) reverted his edits and it went on a debate on if Conker deserve to be in it or no. I was a part in it, I personally believe Banjo has enough tie to the Marioverse but Conker don't, that is another story, thought.
Currently, I am writting a fanfiction about the wiki, playing arcade games using an emuator and reading article, as usual. Glowsquid
I thought of mputting you in it as some sort of novelist that appear at the end (Dunno what Pentaro could do, thought,). You can see the (Not very good) beggining on the forum. I might finish it... after everyone stop jumping on my throath because I didn't convienently listed a reason next to a vote on the proposal page. Glowsquid

Hi i'm Master Crash! and was wondering how come you guys don't make seperate accounts? and pantaros a nice name! and walkazos cool! and what does walkazo mean, and i'd like to sign up for that comic.
Cool, i had i lizard once, it died, i named something kinda... weird, i tried naming like my brothers lizard, (which is iggy) and somehow got the name wiggy :| ya a very odd name, i'm somewhat shocked that walkazo was gibberish, its a really cool name, so guessing by the name pantero you guys are spanish, if not hit me on the head with a rubber ducky, %| well to give you more about me i'm actually japanese, but never been to japan, and also don't sound or look it, (well, in my oppinion.

Errrrmmm... I'd rather be someoen who can use the Tattle ability since I am not much of a Zelda fan (Only played Twillight Princess.), same thing for Pokemon. I'd rather want you to use my Heckran sprite since they obliviously look much better (Well, I think so.) Glowsquid

Well, since i havn't decided the mom, i just go with that MC jr. is from the future sent back in time to avoid death, the day he left he experienced some amnesia not remembering his mother, but sometimes dreaming about her, but the mom isn't dead. So... ya thats my story.

What's wrong with Mario?
You keep saying you hate Mario, but why? Has he done anything to you? (That's not possible.) I think you're mixed up. Bowser is a jerk who likes to makes Mario and his friends' lives miserable for no reason, just becase he thinks it's fun to see other people suffer. And Mario is this nice guy who's always helping everyone out and making things nicer for everyone. In real life, everyone would like him! There's nothing to hate about him! Do you think you could explain (on my talk page) why you hate Mario and like Bowser?

- Okay, about what you said... where to start? First of all, I was suprised you made that comment about Bowser not having a wife. I thought YOU were Bowser's wife! Second of all, you're saying he just wanted to ride the green donkey and got attacked by Yoshi, but I remember Baby Bowser attacking too. I don't remember M&L:PiT very well (havent played it in a long time because i didn't like it) but I remember Bowser did some other bad things besides stealing cookies. And about the Mario Parties, I don't think Bowser wants to go to the party-- I think he just finds it fun to make other people unhappy for no reason, but he always fails (why does he deserve to succeed?)
And about the Paper Mario series-- I do have to admit, he's not so evil in that game, but the only reason he actually teamed up with Mario is because if the world was destroyed, he'd have no world to conqeur. That's what I call someone who only cares about himself. So he's kinda nice in that game after that. But that was followed by Super Mario Galaxy, and was he evil in that? HECK YES!!! And sure he's funny in some RPGs, but does that neccesarily mean he's nice? And he isn't only nice to Peach, he's nice to all of his friends, so you can't say his love for Peach makes him help people. And I haven't beaten Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door (only at the tree in Boggly Woods) yet, so I don't know what happens at the end. Or about the Yoshi Kid. But Yoshis are strong, they wouldn't have saddles on theire backs if they weren't suited for carrying people. And I don't see what Mario does to the Pixls.
And about enemies: the Goombas and Koopas in platformers never speak, so you can assume there about as intelligent as bugs with little capacity for sensation or thought. And anyway, when you come back to the level afterwards, there still there, which is evidence he didn't really kill them. Not all Goombas and Koopa are like that(there are some intelligent ones in the Paper Mario series and other games). But the ones in the platformers are. About Crazee Dayzees and Fuzzies, they hurt Mario when he walks into them, so they're attacking him. Good point about Amazee Dayzees, but what happens if you tattle on them? There's probably something about it being bad. And all that goes for Rexes and Paratroopas too. Why would you have sympathy for mindless creatures who try to stop you for no reason. (I can understand you like Paratroopas, your brother is one. But I'm assuming he's also a human being.)
And Mario does not hit Yoshi over the head with his fist to get him to stick his tongue out! It might be hard to see on the game screen, but Mario points forward. On page 30 of the Super Mario Advance 2 booklet, it explains how to use Yoshi and there's a picture of Mario pointing to a berry and eating it. I'd show you, but we're only connected by the internet. Nintenddo would not have Mario hit Yoshi on the head. And about the Koopalings, why does it matter how old they are. They unfairly took control of kingdoms that weren't rightfully there's, and they're trying to stop Mario just because the Koopa Troop wants Mario to suffer. And they're trying to kill Mario just for that reason, and he has the right to defend himself. And anyway, they somehow survived, because if you go back to the castles after saving Peach (which Mario should try to do), they're still there, no matter how many times they're defeated.
And that's my long-winded response to your long-winding explanation. Maybe you're not convinced, but that's fine with me. But I might not really like it if you insult Yoshi and/or the Yoshis. And if you say Crystal Yoshi is bad... CrystalYoshi 16:10, 2 February 2008 (EST) P.S. When you said it was "essay season" in school, it made me wonder, what stage of school are you in? High school? You don't need to tell me, but I'd like to know.
Oh, some things I forgot to say:
- Mario's female partners in PM:TTYD (Goombella, Flurrie, I haven't gotten any more), Mario is being nice to them. He lets them kiss him when they've known him for less than two minutes!
- When you said, "Where I come from that's called child abuse", it made me laugh. I think I come from the same world you do. I can understand that since we're only connected over the internet, it might seem like I live in Crystal Yoshi world. But that's not the case.

Okay, I'm getting tired of this. Mario has his good and bad things, and so does Bowser. No one's perfect. WAs an interesting discussion, eh? About what you said, I guess I was really kidding when I said that "you were Bowser's wife" thing. And what exactly did you mean by "kids are stupid"? Does that include preteens? Even if it doesn't, I don't think you really think all kids are stupid. (Maybe you meant little kids do weird things sometimes?) I don't think Yoshis have shells, by the way, I think those are just for turtle-based enemies.) I liked your real life examples. And yeah, in Super Mario Advance 2, the castles go back up. (that game's got a lot of improvements from the original.) And you think of it as unfortunate that you're in highschool? I'm just in seventh grade, and I feel like that's really hard... uh oh. (How'd you make the text small?) Oh, also, it's not that I don't enjoy our conversations, but that discussion took up a lot of space on my talk page-- I'd make as sub-page but I don't know how. Different Timelines (continued)
Your view is a very common one that I've seen across the 'net and across many series where there's more than one from of media. It's a view inspired by the canon of Star Wars and StarTrek that has spread to Mario now. It's understandable: since when has Nintendo been vocal and explicite about ANYthing? They're the type of people who like to hold off from defining anything so that their designers can incorporate whatever they please in the interest of story and game.
So, on the one hand I can definately see where you're coming from: it's up to the fans to contruct the storyline for themselves, something that's been called the creation of "personal canon". We all have it. But what I'm seeing on the Wiki, which is what bothers me, is that the majority canon, which only includes the video games for some reason or another, are considered supreme and all non-video gams are shoved aside. I'm not sure why "alternate media" is the line by which canon is determined, especially when the video games, such as your example in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! or Luigi's Mansion (Bowser's unexplained death, then the confirmation that it happened before Super Mario Sunshine), have much more blaring inconsistencies.
So, basically what it comes down to is this: I cannot watch as this Wiki holds the personal canon, majority or not, superior to the source material, which includes games, TV shows, and even the movies. You say that "we can't blind ourselves to the glaringly obvious". Fair point, but you're forgetting something. Would you consider Super Mario Sunshine not be in the main Mario continuity because it portrayed King Boo and the other Boos differently than Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario 64 DS, and Mario Party 8? If you are willing to hold video games to the same standards of consistency as you are holding everything else, you'll find plenty of glaringly obvious continuity errors. I know you didn't say this directly, but video games cannot be excused where other mediums are held responsible. Think about it: I'm not going to argue that Super Mario Bros. or Paper Mario occurred in an alternate, flat world. So why do you think that, because of something as minor as the differences in TWO characters' appearances (three if you count the error in Toad that was corrected by the forth episode), that there differences in timelines? Should, then, Super Mario Bros., be held to not be in the same timeline as the games in which Princess Peach was blonde? Yes, it was remade to fit modern appearances. But what about Paper Mario and Super Mario Sunshine?
Bottomline is this: you argue that exploring inconsistencies in video games is fanon, but that exploring inconsistencies in TV shows and movies is pointing out the "glaringly obvious". I'm not going to dictate what is in your personal canon. The Mario Wiki should be presented so that people can take it all in, then decide if they want to remove certain games, etc. from the continuity. It's much easier for the reader to include something from her own personal canon if she knows about it, so why deny her that possibility? Stumpers! 21:15, 18 February 2008 (EST)

This is the crazy User called Dom. WOW, you must really hate Mario! Is it because of how frustrating it gets when he dies 50 times on the same level and he keeps on saying annoying, high-pitched Italian accent stuff? Probably.
