| Syntax | |
|---|---|
| |title= | By default, this is not necessary, as it will automatically use the article title sans identifier. For special cases, it can be manually specified. |
| |name= | Use this instead of the title parameter only in cases where the italics are not necessary. |
| |image= | Box art of the game (North American box takes precedence to be consistent with the naming policy). |
| |developer= | Developer of the game. |
| |publisher= | Publisher of the game (based on which home/handheld console(s) this game is for). |

| |product_line= | What line of products the game was released under. |
| |release= | Release dates in all countries for all platforms, in order from earliest to latest (use {{flag list}}).[Proposal 1] If there are many release dates, release2 can be used to add collapsed entries.
|
| |end= | If the game is no longer playable, the end of service date. |
| |languages= | The languages in which the game can be played (use {{languages}}). Largely identical English localizations from different regions should be listed simply as "English".[Proposal 2] British English should only be listed as a language if the text actually uses British English words, grammar and spelling, or if Nintendo makes the distinction themselves.[Proposal 3] |
| |genre= | What genre the game is in (see genre for a full list of genres). |
| |ratings= | Official age ratings of the game (use {{ratings}}). |

| |serials= | The product serial code(s) assigned to the game (use {{flag list}}). |
| |gallery= | Added only when the existing gallery link needs to be changed or the image caption removed (set to blank). |
