The publication infobox is used for comic books, magazines, mangas, and other physically published written media. This infobox is used both for the series itself (e.g. Nintendo Power or Super Mario-kun), as well as for individual volumes or stories from a series (e.g. Flown the Koopa or Super Mario-kun Volume 7).

| |title= | By default, this is not necessary, as it will automatically use the article title sans identifier. For special cases, it can be manually specified. |
| |name= | Use this instead of the title parameter only in cases where the italics are not necessary. |

| |series= | The book series to which the volume or issue belongs. |
| |writer= | The publication's writer(s). |
| |artist= | The publication's artist(s). |
| |publisher= | The publishing house. |
| |label= | The label(s) it is published under. |
| |narrator= | The audiobook narrator(s), if applicable. |
| |voice= | The audiobook voice actor(s), if applicable. |
| |language= | The language the publication was originally written in. |
| |translation= | The language(s) the publication has been translated into. |
| |volumes= | For publication series articles, the number of volumes in the series. |
| |issues= | Alternative parameter for "volumes" used for releases where the term "volumes" is unfitting. |
| |release= | The date of release (use {{flag list}}).[Proposal 1] If there are many release dates, release2 can be used to add collapsed entries.
