| |title= | By default, this is not necessary, as it will automatically use the article title sans identifier. For special cases, it can be manually specified. |
| |image= | A representative image of the world—ideally, the world's most recognizable feature. |

| |unlock= | How the world is unlocked. |
| |boss= | Any bosses fought in the world, not necessarily at the end. |
| |comets= | Any Prankster Comets that appear in the world, in the case of Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. |
| |missions= | Each mission that takes place in that world, usually from a 3D Super Mario game. |
| |stars= | How many Power Stars can be collected in the world, in the case of Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario Galaxy 2. |
| |moons= | How many Power Moons can be collected in the world, in the case of Super Mario Odyssey. |
| |regional_coins= | How many regional coins can be collected in the world, in the case of Super Mario Odyssey. |
| |terrain= | The layer's terrain strength, in the case of Donkey Kong Bananza. |
| |difficulty= | The layer's level of difficulty in Emerald Rush, in the case of Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Island & Emerald Rush. |
