This infobox provides general information about a company, such as Nintendo or Square Enix. It is also used for internal teams at a company, such as the Nintendo Entertainment Analysis & Development division.

| |title= | By default, this is not necessary, as it will automatically use the article title sans identifier. For special cases, it can be manually specified. |
| |bg= | A hex code or color name. Displays a solid color behind the image, in cases where the image might be hard to view against the background. |
| |image= | An image of the company. Ideally, its most current logo. |
| |full_name= | The company's full name, in case it is not the page's current name (e.g. the full name of "Nintendo" is "Nintendo Co., Ltd.") |
| |founded= | The date the company was founded. |
| |defunct= | The date the company ended (e.g. when it went bankrupt or was absorbed into another company). |
| |first_release= | The first Super Mario product released by the company. |
| |latest_release= | The latest Super Mario product released by the company. |
| |president= | The company's current president. |
| |product= | Use this field to change the word used in the "first_release" and "latest_release" parameters (e.g. Illumination produces Super Mario films). |
