Yoshi[edit]

Oops, my mistake, you are right, its Bowser, not Baby Bowser in Topsy-Turvy. As for Touch and Go... well the only proof I have at the time is a somewhat badly written paragraph at the Baby Bowser section of Bowser's page on Wikipedia:

[1]

-- Sir Grodus

I remember Baby Bowser in Touch and Go... He's an icon on the high scores table, but doesn't appear in any other form. I suppose he could be a sort of assumed antagonist, as Touch and Go seems to follow Super Mario World 2's story... --YellowYoshi398 17:35, 30 January 2007 (EST)

If that article is correct, then Baby Bowser makes a very tiny cameo in the game. I guess that's why I never knew he was in the game. So, he was in that game, but he only appeared on screen. He was not a boss, merely a cameo. -- Son of Suns

well, Since there is the Baby Mario Bros. it would only make sense that there would be Baby Bowser, right?

What's that supposed to mean Max? A sprite of Mayor Penguin from Paper MarioPaper Jorge

Baby Bowser DOES appear when you get over 3000 yards in challenge mode. Trust me, I've played it.

This is spam right?

[...](Which he eats {and then painfully poops out in a scene not released in the english version of the game})[...]

I think it is because, baby bowser spits the colbat stars out and the Yoshi's say it's magic. Those kind of things would take masive reprograming to change pooping to spiting out, along with a cutsecene. --Hi!!!Nerdy Guy ({{{1}}})Click on the "y", please.

King Baby Bowser[edit]

On a side note, Baby Bowser was referred to as King Bowser in this game, which was quite odd, seeing as he was too young to be King at that time.

I don't think his age (being a "baby") has anything to do with it being strange. It's strange because other games established him as a Prince at that (period of time?). There are tons of baby-kings in real-life and I'm sure in the Mushroom Kingdom, and Bowser could easily have become a "King" at an early age. I think the comment should be removed or rewritten into something that doesn't imply some sort of mimimum age requirement on a monarchy.--Tim Thomason 03:25, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

I agree with that. King Louis XIV was a king right when he is born. I'll remove this sentence. BabyLuigiFire.pngXiahou Ba(the Nasty Warrior)
If he is prince at this time would that make Kamek King since he seems to be preforming King like Duties Iggykoopa (talk)
I see Kamek as an assistant rather than a ruler. This happened several times in actual history where kings were too young to rule, so they were assisted. BabyLuigiFire.pngXiahou Ba(the Nasty Warrior)

Super Mario Bros. Super Show![edit]

...wait...why is there a SMBSS! template in this article? There's not a single trace of information on this article that states that Baby Bowser appeared in the SMBSS!.--UM3000 E-102 Gamma.png Well?--UM3000 E-102 Gamma.png

Change The Infobox Picture?[edit]

? Block from Super Mario World This talk page or section has a conflict or question that must be answered. Please try to help and resolve the issue by leaving a comment.

I was wondering if we should change the picture in the infobox. Out of the later renders, there doesn't seem to be one without another character or an object. The reason I bring this up is because the Partners in Time artwork doesn't represent his modern design. Specifically, Baby Bowser no longer has a bandana. In fact, that was only in Partners in Time, so the artwork is specialized for that game. I feel like any of the artwork from after Partners in Time could work. Baconator2558 (talk) 17:29, 10 February 2019 (EST)

The only suitable replacements would be Yoshi's Story or Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, the latter being the more recent game. All of his other artwork features him with a character, with the exception of Woolly World which is even more specialized than Partners in Time. --Waluigi's head icon in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Too Bad! Waluigi Time! 18:03, 10 February 2019 (EST)

This may be an old discussion, but I still think we ought to find a better image for the infobox. Stylized or not, the Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time design doesn't accurately reflect his design in his other appearances. The bandanna he wears only appears in this game, possibly because the designers confused him for Bowser Jr. at some point in development, and his design has changed a little bit since that game. Wandering Poplin (talk) 15:06, January 10, 2026 (EST)

This is crashing directly into two other infobox image directives: Don't use artwork stylized for a specific game, and use solo artwork where available. Seemingly, the art for every game Baby Bowser has been in since 2006 violates one or the other.
  • Yoshi's Island DS: duo art with Yellow Yoshi
  • Yoshi's New Island: duo art with Kamek where he is holding Kamek's wand
  • Yoshi's Woolly World: solo art, but Baby Bowser is done in amigurumi.
  • Yoshi's Crafted World: Duo art with Kamek where they are both riding Kamek's broom. Also, both of them are designed as plush toys.
There are no good options save for rolling back to Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 art, which is getting pretty long in the tooth. Plus, infobox problems are a pervasive problem for Yoshi subjects as a whole because both of the most recent games have specialized artstyles, and the upcoming Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is looking to continue the trend. I feel like the correct option is to table this discussion until the release of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. If that game does not have "normal" Yoshi series artwork, then I think the best plan is to make a proposal which makes infobox images for subjects primarily appearing in the Yoshi series an exception to the "Don't use artwork stylized for a specific game" rule, then either use new Baby Bowser solo art from Yoshi and the Mysterious Book if there is any or use Yoshi's Woolly World artwork if there is not. Split Mega Baby Bowser[edit]

Brown Block This talk page proposal has already been settled. Please do not edit this section or its subsections. If you wish to discuss the article, please do so in a new section below the proposal.

See the proposal title. Not only will this match the Giant Bowser coverage, but a lot of the examples on that page are very likely inspired by the SMW2 appearance here.

You know, there's also the rare appearance of "Big Kamek" (named internally in Crafted World last I checked). I wonder if that can be next. LinkTheLefty (talk) 09:44, September 7, 2022 (EDT)

He also enlarges himself in two of the eponymous Mario Party boss minigames he is fought in (and was already normal size in the other), and besides, his enlargement in his Crafted World boss fight is simply the final phase in which he was normal size for the previous three, so I'd say wait until further notice. Just to be clear, shoudn't this split go into "Big Baby Bowser" since that name takes priority? SmokedChili (talk) 13:35, September 18, 2022 (EDT)

Does it? Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 16:28, September 18, 2022 (EDT)

I think it would be better if we all checked the various sources to see what name we should use.--Mister Wu (talk) 09:55, September 19, 2022 (EDT)
I don't believe it does. "Big Baby Bowser" only shows up in the Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island section of Playing With Super Power: Nintendo Super NES Classics; "Mega Baby Bowser" shows up in the Scrapbook Theatre of Yoshi's Woolly World and is implied by filenames in Yoshi's New Island (which is interesting because the Japanese name is closer to the former). I think Yoshi's Crafted World reuses Mega Baby Bowser as well, but even if it doesn't, Mega Baby Bowser being in-game gives it higher priority than Big Baby Bowser. Distinguish???[edit]

When I got on this page to see what baby bowser looks like, I was surprised to not see "not to be confused with bowser jr". 142.162.45.152 17:53, September 19, 2025 (EDT)
