Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam missions

Safe by a Sandslide (known as Quicksand Rescue in the British English version) is the fifth mission of Doop Doop Dunes in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam.

Layout[edit]

In this mission, Paper Toads are falling down a sand flow. Mario and co. can move left, center, and right, collecting coins, using the hammer to smash Big Blocks, using Trio Hammer to smash Rock Blocks and free a Paper Toad if one comes down on a Rock Block, and avoiding Mega Bob-ombs. Mario and co. also have three lives, and losing the last one results in a "Too Bad!" The mission is completed once five Paper Toads are rescued.

In the Hard Mode variant, more blocks are encountered, and they move much faster.
