High Jump (Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge)
High Jump is Mini Luigi's special ability in Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. It replaces normal jumps, and goes three blocks high instead of one. Its sound effect is a drawn-out version of the jump sound effect from Super Mario Bros. However, Mini Luigi jumps at every wall he meets, including walls that the High Jump cannot go over, whereas other Mini Toys do not jump when they collide with walls too high to jump over. In Level 8, the High Jump is necessary to skip over several walls at the top of the stage and reach Mini Luigi's assigned door at the top right, leading to Moonlight Mansion. Levels of Moonlight Mansion are built around using High Jump to advance.
While the game states that Mini Luigi can jump higher than the other Mini Toys, Mini Rosalina's Lunar Launch is an even higher jump. High Jump and Lunar Launch differ in that Lunar Launch can only be used against tall walls, and that Lunar Launch does not move Mini Rosalina forward like a normal jump.
