Audio
Ice music on fiery planet
On the starting planet in Shiverburn Galaxy, in cloud form, the player must hit the switch that freezes the planet and return to where they started. They should then Long Jump towards the Magma Slice Planet. Then, they should make a cloud and Long Jump, repeating two more times. They will be pulled by the planet's gravity and land on it, though the starting planet music will still be playing.

Erupting the volcano
Disappearing platforms
When the player is near the volcano in the Yoshi Star Galaxy, he or she should use the infinite flutter jump glitch to reach a height higher than the volcano. When a certain height is reached, the volcano will erupt. The reason the volcano erupts with the Launch Star is because the player reaches the height that triggers the event.

Near the end of Sneaking Down the Creepy Corridor, if the player falls between the moving platforms, the camera will clip through the platforms, while they disappear.
br

Frozen Piranha Plants
Floating hair glitch
In the Fluffy Bluff Galaxy's level Search for the Toad Brigade Captain, if the player reaches the end of the level and looks back, far away but visible Piranha Plants will be frozen. Everything around the Piranha Plants stays normal.

If the player enters first-person view during the credits, the character's hair can be seen, remaining stationary even if the player rotates the camera.

Smeech with the Star
Rosalina angle glitch
To do this glitch, the player must go to any galaxy with Smeeches and Yoshi. Once the player completes the mission (with Yoshi) Mario will have to find a Smeech, and make it stick to Yoshi's lips. Then Mario should take the Power Star without releasing the Smeech. Mario and Yoshi will do the same animation, but the Smeech will still be stuck to Yoshi's mouth. This glitch is easiest to do in the Green Power Star missions of the Sweet Mystery Galaxy, as there is a Smeech near both of them. This can also be done in the Purple Coin Beach Dash level, after the player makes the Star appear.
Normally, on Starship Mario, as Mario is shorter than Rosalina, if he talks to her, she will look downwards while talking to him. However, as Cloud Mario, if he spins a cloud while standing next to her, crouches, and talks to her, despite being above her, she will still look downwards. This can also be performed with the Mailtoad or Banktoad, though they will instead be invisible.

Splashing glitch
Smeech with Star
In the Starshine Beach Galaxy, the player should choose the mission, "Surf, Sand, and Silver Stars." He or she should then get Yoshi, return to the area they landed, and infinite flutter jump back up to the water planet. At a certain height, Yoshi and Mario will be surrounded by water, which will follow them as they flutter jump and fall until they reach the planet.
If the player collects a Power Star with a Smeech on Yoshi, their character and Yoshi will perform the same animation, but the Smeech will remain stuck to Yoshi. This can also occur when entering or exiting the engine room, where his tongue will briefly be long.
br

Yoshi's long tongue glitches
Yoshi's puffed cheeks glitch
On the Starship Mario, the player must hatch and ride Yoshi. He or she must step near the Warp Pad to the Starshroom and press wii quickly. His tongue will be stuck in the Warp Pad, even when he walks around, warps, etc. If the player presses B again or jumps off Yoshi, the glitch will end. If Yoshi tries standing on the Starshroom when doing this, it makes it look like Yoshi's tongue is extremely long. If this glitch is done with slightly different timing, Yoshi's tongue will be stuck to the Warp Pad. The glitch can also be done in reverse: Yoshi's tongue could be extended from the Starship Mario to one of the Toads or the Luma on the Starshroom.
In Yoshi Star Galaxy, if the player activates the Launch Star right as Yoshi eats the golden fruit, Yoshi's cheeks will remain puffed until the player lands.
br

A second glitch similar to the first also exists. Right before entering the engine room on the Starship Mario, the player should press B. If done correctly, Yoshi's tongue will be very long for a moment, then return to normal.
Yoshi's quick legs glitch
On Starship Mario, if the player runs towards the fence, Yoshi's legs will move rapidly.

Chance Cube Room Glitches
Physics
If the player visits the Chance Cube room on Starship Mario, if they face a Luma in a specific way, and talk to them, then in the background, the player can see the same background as the one on Starship Mario instead of the black background.
NOTE: These glitches result from how Mario and/or other characters and objects interact with the world.
Bee in wall glitch
In the area in Honeyhop Galaxy where falling bubbles first appear, in bee form, the player must start from the top of the left wall and then jump off, pressing wii in short rounds to fly to the Bee Mushroom, which clips them through the wall. Alternatively, the player can jump left off the platform to the right of a nearby Choppah, then fly towards the screen and back to the wall.

Also, if the player visits the Chance Cube room with either a Cloud Mario Suit or Yoshi, then:
Depending on the method, they may be pulled out of the wall or remain stuck. If the player is stuck, they may be able to exit by spinning, though if a Ground Pound or Homing Attack is performed, they will likely remain stuck until the level is restarted. They may also be pushed upward through the wall while inside, being unable to do anything but spin.
With Cloud Mario, if the player makes a cloud in a certain place, then they can also see the Space-themed background seen on Starship Mario.
br
If a player uses Yoshi, then with the camera at a specific angle, whilst performing the Yoshi Flutter Jump Glitch, the camera will glitch, showing the space-themed background. This is also possible without the Yoshi Flutter Jump Glitch, but it is much harder.

Freezing
Behind Goomba statue glitch
Tall Trunk Galaxy slide freeze
On the White Out Planet, if the player Ground Pounds the back of the Goomba statue near the Li'l Brr, their character will slide behind the statue, followed by vibrating rapidly. The player is trapped and must exit the level to escape.
In the Tall Trunk Galaxy, on Mission 1, the player should get Yoshi and do the Infinite Flutter Glitch to the Tall Trunk Slide. If the player tries to jump on the slide, the game will freeze with Yoshi and the character in midair, forcing the player to reset the game.

Physics
Boo in wall glitch
Bee in the wall
In the Howling Tower, in Boo form, if the player turns themselves transparent, enters a wall, and remains inside until they become opaque again, they will remain inside the wall.
In the Honeyhop Galaxy, at the area where the falling bubbles first appear, somewhat like a tribute to the original Donkey Kong, there on the honey wall to the left, which has a nearby Choppah guarding the space in between the two structures. To perform this glitch, the player must start from the top-left of this honey wall and then jump off, but only slightly press the wii button in short rounds, so as to take advantage of the honey's own gravitational pull and fly into the wall with an adjacent Bee Mushroom that players would normally reach by dodging bubbles and making their way right and then back left to face the wall. Depending on how the player attempts to enter the wall (the most effective method being to enter from in front of it, being that this would be entering a normally 2-D area from a third dimension), they may remain on the left side, become pulled through the wall onto the other side, or remain stuck in the wall. If the player is stuck in the wall, they may be able to exit it through the use of a spin. If a Ground-Pound or Homing Attack is executed, however, the player will likely remain stuck in the wall until the level is reset. Even what happens to the player upon being stuck in the wall may vary on how the player enters, as they may also be pushed upward through the wall while still remaining inside, and remain unable to perform any action but a spin, which will not enable them to exit the wall. This glitch may also result in some unlisted results, as well.
br
br

Behind the Goomba statue
Bugaboom's Planet gravity glitch
In the Freezy Flake Galaxy, the player must go to the Blizzard Planet and go to the Goomba statue by the Li'l Brr and ground-pound the back of the statue. If done correctly, the player will slide behind the statue. The player will then be vibrating and can jump, spin, crouch, and back-flip. The player is then trapped and can only exit the level and do the other moves mentioned.
On Bugaboom's Planet, if the player uses the clouds from the Cloud Flower to Long Jump back to the previous planet, there will be no gravity.

Boo Mario in the wall glitch
Red-Blue Panel jump glitch
The player must go to the Howling Tower, transform into Boo Mario, and turn transparent. The player then has to maneuver Boo Mario through a wall and remain inside the wall until he is no longer transparent. If done correctly, Boo Mario will be inside the wall.

If the player runs towards the empty space a Red-Blue Panel flips to when spinning, spins before reaching the space, falls onto the panel as it rises, and Long Jumps before the panel stops, their character will be launched high in the air. This can also happen in cloud form if they jump immediately after forming a cloud.
br

Bowser planet glitches
Fly around Cyclone Stone
The player should first reach Bowser with Yoshi. During the battle, the player should infinite flutter away from the planet. If the player gets too close to Bowser, the camera will glitch slightly. If he uses the meteorite attack, the player can see that the meteorites actually come out of thin air not too far from the planet. If the player flutters too far away from the planet, the gravity will change and they will fall out of bounds.
Near the first Green Star in Stone Cyclone Galaxy, if the player waits for the Tox Box to pass, backflips at the right time, lands on the Tox Box when it is flat, then jumps as it begins to turn, they will be launched into the air and circle the planet several times. This glitch was discovered when a fan jumped at the wrong time when performing the midair crush glitch.

Drop zone glitches
High backflip glitch
In Yoshi Star Galaxy, the player should do the infinite flutter at the end of Saddle Up with Yoshi, then go on the in invisible platform, walk left, and the player will drop. There are many possible outcomes, such as repeatedly jumping, floating, or falling down to nowhere. Touching the Coconut will cause the game to crash.
On the Whomp King's head, if player performs a backwards somersault as he is about to fall, the player should end up doing a very high backflip. This also occurs with a Thwomp moving upward.

Falling through Lava
Inside Digga-Leg Planet
This glitch can occur if the player is in any galaxy where there is Lava next to an abyss, like the Shiverburn Galaxy. The player must jump towards the abyss with one wedge of health left in Mario's Health Meter, but must also land on the Lava while jumping and still manage to fall into the abyss after being burned by the Lava and losing a life. This glitch is tricky, but when done correctly, the player can clearly see Mario falling through the lava, as opposed to seeing Mario's silhouette falling through the lava, as one would normally see otherwise.
Occasionally, when using the Spin Drill on Digga-Leg Planet, the player can clip through the planet. The cause is unknown.

Fall of Starship Mario
Invisible platform glitch
the player should be luigi.Get a cloud flower and go to the Starshroom.Backflip, cloud, longjump away from starship mario, cloud, backflip, cloud, long jump away from starship mario, and lose a life.
Near the small fence in Throwback Galaxy, if the player jumps at the right time, they will land on a small platform with nearly no room, virtually standing in midair. ]] flipping up to perform an extremely long, high jump. Mario must be on one of the non-flipping platforms in the galaxy. Then, he must run toward an empty space that a flipping platform flips to when Mario spins. Right before Mario runs into the empty space, he must spin to make the flipping platform flip to the empty space. Mario should fall onto the flipping platform while it is still rising. Finally, Mario must perform a Long Jump right before the platform stops moving. The timing for this is difficult, but if performed correctly, Mario will do a "superjump" that covers huge distance, and can be used as a shortcut.

On Starship Mario, on the wall with the entrance to the engine room, Luigi must crouch down, walk at the edge, stand up, and slide. He will then be off the platform's edge, unable to spin or ground pound, along with his model frozen.
The player must make their way to Bowser Jr.'s Fearsome Fleet, where they must next use the "Yoshi's Infinite Flutter Jump" glitch to reach the Megahammer Planet. If they walk around the planet, they will hit an invisible wall. The player can jump onto it and they will therefore appear to be floating in the air while doing so.

If the player takes the Warp Pipe to go back to Starship Mario, the glitch will end.
In the area with gravity chambers in Sailing the Sandy Seas, the player should wall jump to the platform, fall down, and enter the green pipe. When they exit, they should go right, fall, enter, and then exit the spinning cube's gravity without touching it. Then, the player must enter the pipe again. When they exit, they will fall through all walls and out of bounds, falling for approximately thirty seconds before losing a life.
To activate this glitch, the player has to choose the Silver Stars Down Deep mission in the Spin-Dig Galaxy. The player has to get the Cosmic Clones to follow Mario. The player has to find the Piranha Plant with the Vine. The player will have to run as far as Mario can run on the tower, then long jump. Defeat the Piranha Plant and swing on the vine. They will follow the player on the next planet. If the player enters the Warp Pipe or warps to the Bonus Zone, the Clones will die.
br

Delayed Bee Mario transformation
Falling off Starship Mario
This glitch can be done in the Honeybloom Galaxy. In order for it to work, the player must traverse the level until they reach the area with the Venus Flower Traps and Spiny Stretch Plants. Then, the player must allow Mario to get hit by a Spiny Stretch Plant while buzzing through the air, and then fall directly onto a Bee Mushroom on the ground. As soon as Mario touches the Bee Mushroom, the transformation sound effect will play as normal, but Mario will not transform into Bee Mario until he recovers from the hit and stands up.
On Starship Mario, if the player Flutter Jumps for a long time, they will go out of bounds and lose a life. This can also occur with Cloud Luigi on the Starshroom, if the player backflips, creates a cloud, Long Jumps away from Starship Mario, creates another cloud, backflips, creates the final cloud, and Long Jumps away again.ref needed

Door opening without the switch being hit
Flutter to the Chance Cube room
To do this glitch the player must go to Bowser Jr.'s Fiery Flotilla and backflip up to the top of the castle exterior. When they jump back down again, the door on the starting planet will have opened without Mario hitting the switch.
On the lower-right side of the deck on Starship Mario, the player can reach the Chance Cube room if they Flutter Jump in that direction for a long time. The player can enter the room, but the Starship Mario music will still play.

Duty calls
Invisible wall glitch
If the player long jumps and hits something, normally they fall down and take a few seconds to get back up; however, if the player long jumps as soon as they fall, the player will get right back up to spin. Note: this does not work after being hit by an enemy and knocked down.

In Bowser Jr.'s Fearsome Fleet, if the player Flutter Jumps to the Megahammer Planet, when walking around the planet, they will hit an invisible wall.
br

Extended spin
Long fall glitch
If Mario spins when he is right next to an enemy, and he runs into the enemy right after he spins (if the spin misses), the enemy will act as if Mario hit it while spinning. Note that this glitch will not work if the enemy is not extremely close to the player, as right next to the original spin is the only option currently.
On the far-right corner of Flipswitch Panel Planet, the player must Flutter Jump towards the abyss until the screen turns white. Then, they should jump off Yoshi and Ground Pound. Their character will shrink, and the background will return to normal. They will fall for a long time before losing a life.

Falling onto Starship Mario with Yoshi
Midair splashing glitch
To do this, the player needs to use Yoshi and get on the Warp Pad that takes them to the red Starshroom. Then back flip and use the Infinite Flutter Jump glitch. If the camera is turned, let go of the wii button. The player has to wait until they land on Starship Mario.

In Surf, Sand, and Silver Stars, the player should Flutter Jump back to the Water Sphere Coral Planet. At a certain height, they will be surrounded by water, which will follow them as they Flutter Jump and fall until they reach the planet.

Fire planet gravity trick
Reach Flash Black Galaxy's roof
To do this the player must go to Bowser Jr.'s Fiery Flotilla. They must do a triple jump on the starting planet, landing the third jump near the Sling Star. If the player spins at the peak of the jump, they will end up on the Fire Planet without using the Sling Star. This is tricky because if the player spins at the wrong time, it will activate the Sling Star.

At the checkpoint on the Maze Walkway Planet, the player should turn around and return to the start, crossing in front of the house. Upon returning, it is impossible for the player to enter the house through its regular entrance, but instead, it must be entered from the side. For this glitch, however, one must Flutter Jump to the roof of the house. Due to the nature of the roof and the house itself, the player will only be able to walk on the roof in 2D. Also, the player cannot stand on the roof - they are actually standing in the roof, as it has no collision.
*Yoshi cannot enter a bubble.
*The ground pound switch is missing.
*The entrance/exit hole has been sealed.
This can also be done in the Purple Coins mission, except after collecting 100 Coins, instead of collecting the Power Star, the player can enter through the bottom of the tower the normal way, and the changes stated above will still be there.

Gobblegut Planet shortcut
Tall Trunk Galaxy slide freeze
In Bowser Jr.'s Fiery Flotilla, if the player manages to go to the area near the first Green Power Star (on the castle walls), he or she should go to the top of the back castle wall. After that, Mario or Luigi should then long jump away from the planets, and the player should end up being caught by the Gobblegut planet's gravity and land on the planet.
In The Flotacious Blimp Fruit, the player should Flutter Jump to the Tall Trunk Slide. If the player attempts to jump on the slide, the game will freeze, with the player frozen in midair, forcing the player to restart the game.
br
br

Lose a life without being crushed
Unactivated Hammer Bro. glitch
It is unknown what triggers this glitch, but if the player is on top of the Whomp King and does a jump toward him while he's getting up in a certain manner, the player will be crushed in midair for no apparent reason and lose a life. This glitch will work with both Mario and Luigi. The player can also be randomly crushed when Long Jumping past a Tox Box in Stone Cyclone Galaxy.
In Bowser Jr.'s Fearsome Fleet, if the player Flutter Jumps to the Airship with the Hammer Bro., a cutscene trigger will be skipped, and the Hammer Bro. will not attack.

Mario's redemption
Volcano eruption glitch
During the second phase of the final Bowser battle, one has to let Bowser damage Mario until he is at his last health point. At this point there should be a coin from the recently destroyed meteorite on the current one Mario stands on. Allow Bowser to take away the final health point where then Mario will fall back and be pulled by the next meteorite's gravitational field, where Mario will then slam into the ground laying on his belly about to initiate the defeat animation, but if a coin lands on top of him, he will get up and the player can continue the fight.
Near the volcano in Yoshi Star Galaxy, if the player Flutter Jumps higher than the volcano, when reaching a certain height, the volcano will erupt.

Mario and Yoshi atop the rock planet
Walk in the sky
In Bowser Jr.'s Fearsome Fleet's Gunner Path, in the solid platform, the Player must Infinite Flutter Jump towards one of the two rocky planets near the place. These planets don't have their own gravity, so, Mario can only stay at their top.

On the top of the Tower Planet in Saddle Up with Yoshi, the player must swing on the flower and then Flutter Jump all the way left or right while continuously gaining height. After about 3 minutes, the player will be able to stand on the sky, though they will fall if they move too far.
br

Messed-up Cosmic Clones
Yoshi in final battle glitch
In Cloudy Court Galaxy, the player must choose The Shadow Lining, then, on the Gravity Blocks Planet with the Star Chips, the player should go close to a star chip (not too close, just close enough to collect it) and grab it. If done correctly, the player will get the star chip, but the Cosmic Clones won't show up. Using this glitch, the player can get to the first Launch Star without having to worry about the Clones.

In Bowser's Galaxy Generator, on the planet where the Snake Block ends, there is a large pole that will take the player to the door. The player should stand next to the pole and Flutter Jump to reach the top of the planet. The player should Ground Pound on the meteors and open the door, but get back on Yoshi before the portal opens. The cutscene will play, but when Bowser roars and the player and Luma fall to the planet, the player will be frozen. The only way to defeat Bowser is to jump off Yoshi, Ground Pound on the meteor, and land on Yoshi in midair. If the player defeats Bowser, Yoshi will be fused with one of the Lumas.
On the planet, Flutter Jumping can be used to perform several other glitches. If the player gets too close to Bowser, the camera will glitch slightly. They can also see that the meteorite that appear during his attack appear out of thin air. If the player flutters too far away from the planet, the gravity will change and they will fall out of bounds.dead link
br

Mount and dismount Yoshi during credits
Yoshi Infinite Flutter trap glitch
During the credits, Mario or Luigi must hit the Yoshi Egg and use Yoshi. If Mario or Luigi keeps mounting/dismounting Yoshi, the screen will freeze a slight bit. Note: Mario or Luigi must keep on mounting and dismounting Yoshi until the page turns to the last page.

In Hightail Falls Galaxy, the player must Flutter Jump to the Kleptoad Planet. When very close to the planet, but not in its gravity, the player should stop fluttering. If done correctly, the player should see the background that is normally seen when the player falls into the abyss in Hightail Falls. However, the player will not lose a life, and as invisible walls prevent the player from leaving, the only way to leave is to exit the level or restart the game.
br

Pass through harmless electricity
Yoshi on Cloud Tower glitch
To do this glitch, the player, after landing on the Banzai Bill planet of Bowser's Galaxy Generator, should deliberately lose two portions of Mario's life by touching the electricity wall. On the third go, however, Mario will pass through the wall without getting hurt.

In Surf, Sand, and Silver Stars and Purple Coin Beach Dash, in thr pool with the Blimp Fruit, Coins, and 1-Up Mushroom, Yoshi must eat a fruit and fly to the larger tower out of the two. When the fruit's effects run out, the player must Flutter Jump the rest of the way. On the tower, Yoshi cannot enter a bubble, the Ground Pound switch is missing, and the hole has been sealed.
br

Pull, not push
Midair crush glitch
First, Mario on Yoshi should approach an enemy like a Piranha Plant or a Thorny Flower, one that needs to be pulled to be defeated. Yoshi should grab onto them in mid-air while Flutter Jumping. Not only will the plant not struggle until Yoshi hits the ground, but Yoshi could flutter backwards and, on the Tower Planet in Yoshi Star Galaxy, make Yoshi's tongue stretch halfway around the planet. Yoshi can still pull back and defeat it like this, and it doesn't effect gameplay that much.
It is unknown what causes this glitch, but if the player is on top of the Whomp King and jumps toward him while he stands up in a specific way, the player will be crushed in midair and lose a life. The player can also be randomly crushed when Long Jumping past a Tox Box in Stone Cyclone Galaxy.

Reappearing Coconuts and Watermelons
Quick recovery glitch
In Shiverburn Galaxy, the player should go to the place with Watermelons. After, they should get rid of at least one Watermelon. Then, they should press on the wii and look at where the Watermelon used to be. It will reappear, and it will be slightly floating in midair.
Normally, if the player hits something when Long Jumping, they fall down and take a few seconds to stand up. However, if they Long Jumps right as they fall, the player will immediately stand up. This does not occurs when hit by an enemy.

Slow/Stop Rock Mario
Reappearing Watermelon glitch
To do this glitch, the player must go to the Melty Monster Galaxy and go to the mission "A Stroll Down Rolling Lane". The player must then grab the first Rock Mushroom and aim directly at one of the rubber bouncers. Then shake the Wii Remote to turn into a boulder. Then wait for about 3-4 bounces. Rock Mario should fly straight up then stop rolling. The player can jump and spin jump. To end the glitch, the player should just move the nunchuck.
In the Watermelon area in Shiverburn Galaxy, if the player destroys a Watermelon, when it reappears, it will be slightly floating in midair.

======
Sling Star skip
To do this, the player must use Luigi on Starship Mario. Luigi should grab the Cloud Flower and go to the Starshroom. After Luigi jumps out of the warp pad, he should do a back-flip, create a cloud platform, do another backflip and create another cloud platform. Then, he should long jump. If done correctly, he will land on Starship Mario. Note: This can be done with Mario, but the player needs more precise timing.
On the starting planet of Bowser Jr.'s Fiery Flotilla, the player must Triple Jump, landing the third jump near the Sling Star. If the player Spins at the peak of the jump, they will end up on the Lava Planet without using the Sling Star.

Travel to the central shapes planet
Stopped Rock Mario glitch
To do this, the player must do the level at Yoshi Star Galaxy "Saddle up with Yoshi". Then when he or she is on the Earth Planet, they have to use the infinite flutter jump until the camera turns to the other planet and let go with wii. Mario or Luigi will land on the Central Shapes Planet from the episode "Spiny Control". The player can also go to the Marble Blocks and Cone planets like this too, and the music will change too, as well as a 1-Up Mushroom.
In A Stroll Down Rolling Lane, in rock form, if the player aims directly at one of the rubber bouncers and turns into a boulder, after about 3-4 bounces, they will fly straight up and stop rolling. The glitch ends if the player moves the Nunchuk.

Yoshi's infinite Flutter Jump
Stubborn plants
When Mario rides Yoshi and does a Flutter Jump, and when he is almost finished, the player has to release wii and press wii, and release wii and hold wii, and repeat this to gain more height. This was discovered by fans very shortly after the game's release. This glitch is known by many fans as "Infinite Fluttering," and has become the most well-known glitch in the game. Using this glitch, players can fight the final boss, Bowser, and also even clear the Perfect Run with Yoshi. It is also because of this glitch that several other glitches have also been found.
Near an enemy Yoshi can pull to defeat, such as a Piranha Plant or a thorny flower, if Yoshi grabs onto them while Flutter Jumping, the plant will not struggle until he lands, though he can still defeat it.

Yoshi slide
Stuck on Bonus Planet
While riding Yoshi, the player must first crouch. He or she must then release the wii and quickly swing the Wii Remote right afterward. If done correctly, Mario and Yoshi remain in their crouching position. If the player moves, Yoshi will slide across the ground. If the player moves into water or mud, the game will act as though it is just regular ground. If he or she walks on sand, footprints still appear. If he or she slides into a Cloud Flower, Mario sometimes remains in the crouching position as Cloud Mario.

In Throwback Galaxy, in cloud form, the player should go to the area right before the stairs with the Thwomp. Then, the player must go to the bottom-left corner and perform a Long Jump towards the bonus planet, using the Cloud Flower when necessary. When defeat all the enemies on the planet, the music will not change, and they will not be teleported back.

Yoshi vs. Bowser
Wall ride glitch
In Bowser's Galaxy Generator, as Luigi, the player must get a Life Mushroom and the Fluff. Then, they must fly to the high platform near the volcanic wall and rub against the wall. The player will run up the wall and fall behind it for a few seconds.
In Bowser's Galaxy Generator, the player will need to get all the way to the end of the level while riding Yoshi. Then, at the planet where the Snake Block ends, there is a big pole that will take the player to the big door. Then stand next to the pole and do the infinite Flutter Jump glitch to get to the top of the planet and where the meteors are. Get off of Yoshi, and ground pound on the three meteors and open the door, but quickly get back on Yoshi before the portal opens. Both Yoshi and Mario/Luigi will go through the door. They will land on the next planet and be frozen for a short while.

The whole cutscene will play, but at the point where Bowser roars and Mario and the Luma falls to the planet where he battles Bowser, only the Luma will fall, and Mario/Luigi and Yoshi will be still frozen. But they will still fall to the next planet anyway. The only way to defeat Bowser is to jump off Yoshi, ground pound on the meteor, and land on Yoshi in mid air. If the player manages to fully defeat Bowser to the Grand Star, Yoshi will be morphed in with one of the Lumas.
Yoshi slide glitch
While riding Yoshi, the player must crouch. Then, they must release the wii and quickly shake the Wii Remote right afterward. If performed correctly, the player's character and Yoshi will remain crouched. If the player moves, Yoshi will slide across the ground.. Footprints will still appear if they slide on sand. If the player moves into water or mud, the game will act as though it is just regular ground. The glitch can be fixed by many actions, such as jumping, eating a Dash Pepper or Blimp Fruit, using a Warp Pad, talking to anyone, entering deep water, spitting out an enemy, etc.

This is a list of glitches in Super Mario Galaxy 2. Unless otherwise noted, all names are unofficial.

They will be pulled by the planet's gravity and land on it, though the starting planet music will still be playing.[1]

Squizzard battle loud sound glitch

During the Squizzard battle, if the player defeats him and is hit simultaneously, a loud sound will play. When the cutscene finishes, they will take damage and be knocked back.

Graphics

Chance Cube room wall glitch

Incorrect background in the Chance Cube Room due to a glitch.
The unfinished wall

If the player visits the Chance Cube room and faces towards the screen while talking to a Lumalee, the wall is unfinished, showing the sky.[2]

Cloud clipping

The player should Ground Pound on the meteors and open the door, but get back on Yoshi before the portal opens. The cutscene will play, but when Bowser roars and the player and Luma fall to the planet, the player will be frozen. The only way to defeat Bowser is to jump off Yoshi, Ground Pound on the meteor, and land on Yoshi in midair. If the player defeats Bowser, Yoshi will be fused with one of the Lumas.[2][32][33]

Mario and Yoshi fluttering away from the planet and towards Bowser in the final battle

On the planet, Flutter Jumping can be used to perform several other glitches. If the player gets too close to Bowser, the camera will glitch slightly. They can also see that the meteorite that appear during his attack appear out of thin air. If the player flutters too far away from the planet, the gravity will change and they will fall out of bounds.[34][dead link]
