White Yoshis are a species of Yoshi. They are unlockable and are rarer than Black Yoshis. They, alike the Black Yoshis, can eat things that normal ones cannot, like Peppers. One can be found in Stage 3-2: The Tall Tower.
White Yoshis appear in Yoshi's Island DS, playable in the Extra stage in each world.
In Mario Power Tennis, Yoshi can change colors every time he performs a Rolling Egg Return, provided the player has completed the Flower Cup with any character. One of the colors that Yoshi can turn is white.
Appearance
In Yoshi's Story, White Yoshi debuted with white skin and cyan shoes with a red saddle. This design has gone unchanged. Some White Yoshi's tend to be born with wings similar to Angel wings. It is unknown if Black Yoshis share this trait also. They were also in Yoshi's Island DS. They were unlockable by getting a perfect 800 in a world when they were then able to be played in the unlockable course.
