Choco Island 1 is the first course of the Flower Cup in Super Mario Kart and reappears, as a retro stage, in Mario Kart: Super Circuit. The stage is based on Chocolate Island from Super Mario World. It is a very short course and one lap typically takes not much more than twenty seconds to complete. Its hazards are Piranha Plants which will make the driver slide once contacted.
