The 'Shroom:Issue 100/Poll Chairperson Address
Hiya everyone! I am so deeply honored to have been elected to the title of Poll Chairperson of the sixth Poll Committee. I cannot thank the members of the community enough who voted for me and voted in this election in general, and I would also like to thank Andymii (talk) for being a wonderful and honorable opponent. I am extremely excited to step into this role and I hope to further expand upon what makes the Poll Committee great in the first place.
I would like to also announce that my opponent, Andymii (talk), will be my vice-chairperson! I have worked with Andy directly through the ‘Shroom, and I can easily say he is one of the hardest workers I have ever seen. He has so much heart and passion and I know he will do an absolutely amazing job as vice-chairperson. I am extremely excited to be working with him on the Poll Committee!
My goal for the poll committee is to keep it as open and creative as possible. Just like my predecessors, I will also be accepting forms that have ideas for polls that could quite possibly be used. I will be throwing the form down below for you all to take a look at! If you are interested in filling one out, you can send your filled-out form to me on the Marioboards via private message! I am very excited to see what creative ideas you all come up with!
Lastly, Andy and I are looking for members to join this version of the Poll Committee! If you are interested in applying, please shoot me a private message! Please include your community experience, why you want to be a part of the committee, and what your plans are for the poll committee and the entire community. We would greatly appreciate receiving applications as soon as possible over these next few days and weeks, so we can start getting to work on having the best possible year! I am extremely excited to get to work, and I cannot wait to begin working with all of you!
