Split K. Wallopoid?[edit]
For some reason, K. Wallopoid is currently merged into this article, despite being treated as a distinct enemy in-game. Following the precedent set by the Eggplant Warrior proposal and the Wario World enemies, I think we should split K. Wallopoid. It has a distinct appearance, a different name, and appears in different areas.

- This is logical. The fact that the K. Wallopoids remained unnamed until over 2 months after Donkey Kong Bananza's release likely resulted in both subjects being merged. --Illuminoid (talk) 15:36, July 6, 2026 (UTC)
- It is not illogical, I've already shown two similar cases, including one where the subject doesn't even have an official name. Also, what's the point of the "two months for information" argument? Just because the name wasn't there on day one doesn't mean it should be discarded or not prioritized. After all, it is the same info that gave names to Glitzoid, VoidCo Spike-Ball Spitter, and VoidCo Bongo Blaster.

- You stated that "For some reason, K. Wallopoid is currently merged"; I was simply adding context for what could have caused the merge. --Illuminoid (talk) 16:24, July 6, 2026 (UTC)
- Oh, my bad then.

- Would that mean we also have to split some of the boss rematches, e.g. K. Wallopoid, Mad Mixer Remix, Re-Peekabruiser, etc. These had different names since day 1, and we DID split K. Rool, King of Rot, when that's also a rematch.

- K. Wallopoid and K. Rool, King of Rot receive their own statues, whereas Re-Peekabruiser, Mad Mixer Remix, and K. Stompenclomper do not. --Illuminoid (talk) 16:24, July 6, 2026 (UTC)

- I don't actually believe we should split K. Wallopoid. Sure, it has a distinct name, but it is a purely aesthetic variant of Wallopoid with no gameplay differences. I would be more okay with splitting the rematch bosses, but considering how similar those are to the originals, it makes sense to keep them merged as well. — eviemaybe

- The thing is, these are considered explicity different enemies in-game, which is not the case for the bosses. Also, what's the difference between this case and Eggplant Warrior? Here, we at least have a clear intention of distinction and even different names in each language.
