(First topic)[edit]
I hope I'm writing this in an acceptable format, I looked around and didn't find any specific formula, so I just went at it. It's a work in progress.--KoopaTroopa32 03:44, 18 November 2006 (EST)
It's good. However, avoid using the word "you" It is frowned upon in this Wiki. Instead use the player, or reword your sentences so as not to include "you" Phoenix Rider 09:26, 18 November 2006 (EST)
Official JP release date?[edit]
What is the official japanese date that has this game released? My reference entry I added only shows US and EUR release dates. Comments? RAP... Gonna sleep soon... like Hooktail's beauty sleep. XP

...I'm not sure I follow you. The article does have the Japanese release dates. :\ User:Pokemon DP/sig
- I'm a bit confused myself - in part because the only ROM dumps I can find of Yoshi no Panepon are dumped from Satellaview carts, yet that article doesn't specify whether there was a standard cart release... and considering how much the items fetch for on Yahoo Japan Auctions, I'm kinda doubting it. --Kiddo 22:27, 15 December 2008 (EST)

Allies and enemies names in other languages[edit]
I'm pretty sure this would help to know what are the names in other Languages, such as Dr. Freezegood, and Eggo-Dil's names they do have English and Japanese names, but i'm sure that some languages (especially european languages, such as French and German) would help adding names in other languages. -- FanOfYoshi

Killer Instinct?[edit]
I have my doubts about KI supposedly being considered to replace the fairies at first because Nintendo Magazine System doesn't provide any actual evidence that it was considered and from what I can tell, Yoshi and the gang were always meant to replace Lip and her friends. Split Panel de Pon and Tetris Attack[edit]
| | This talk page proposal has already been settled. Please do not edit this section or its subsections. If you wish to discuss the article, please do so in a new section below the proposal. |
do not split 1-7
Tetris Attack is currently merged with Panel de Pon; they should be splited as even though Tetris Attack is just the international version of Panel de Pon, they both have various differences. Much like how Super Mario Bros. 2 and Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic are separate pages dispute having various differences.

Tetris Attack and Panel de Pon are stronger... separated! (support)[edit]
- PrincessPeachFan (talk): One look at the TCRF article shows the differences.
#PawPatroler (talk) They should be separate pages.
#Rykitu (talk) Per proposal. Especially the comparison and reason why Doki Doki Panic is split
Tetris Attack and Panel de Pon are stronger... together! (oppose)[edit]
- Kaptain Skurvy (talk) I'm pretty sure one of the reasons Doki Doki Panic is split is due to the fact that most of the enemies and bosses would later become major characters in the Super Mario franchise. This, however, is just a game that would later be reskinned into a Super Mario game, and I don't think that makes it deserve a split. If we're splitting this, why aren't we splitting Banjo-Pilot, It's Mr. Pants, Mickey Mouse G&W, Bomberman GB, and Pongoal? Those were all later/earlier reskinned or intended to be Super Mario games, what makes this so different?
- Camwoodstock (talk) Per Skurvy, but in addition, it's worth noting that Panel De Pon is like, its own series, which exists separately from the Mario franchise. Doki Doki Panic was, more-or-less, a one-off title to our awareness, which gives it some reason to be covered on its own page. This, to us, would be a bit like giving Puyo Puyo its own page on WiKirby separate from their Kirby's Avalanche page, which is... A bit strange to do.
- Altendo (talk) Oh boy! I cannot wait for Mickey Mouse and The Walt Disney Company to have pages on the Super Mario Wiki!
- Waluigi Time (talk) Per Kaptain Skurvy. SMB2 takes most of its content from Doki Doki Panic and a lot of that's been adopted into the Mario brand. Panel de Pon has no greater relevance to the Mario franchise than Tetris Attack being a new coat of paint over the entire game.
- Rykitu (talk) Per Waluigi Time. Also, this is the second time Mickey Mouse is being considered towards getting an article. (Me and another user thought he appeared in Super Mario Bros. 4: Super Mario World 5 but it was a actually a different mouse resembling him). Also, while we are at it, we should probably remove Panel de Pon's entry on List of games.
- SComic (talk) Per Kaptain Skurvy, it makes sense to keep them together unlike Doki Doki Panic and SMB2 for now.
- PopitTart (talk) Doki Doki Panic is the origin game of Shy Guy, Snifit, Birdo, Bob-omb, Pokey, Ninji, and Turnips. Panel de Pon has no such relationship to the Super Mario franchise.
Comments[edit]
@Kaptain Skurvy: https://tcrf.net/Tetris_Attack_(SNES)/Regional_Differences This article explains all the differences. PrincessPeachFan (talk) 06:58, July 24, 2025 (EDT)
- @PrincessPeachFan My point isn't "It doesn't have enough differences," my point is "It isn't a Super Mario game, nor does it have any characters that would later become mainstays in the Super Mario franchise, unlike Doki Doki Panic."
