So, when making this page, I failed to notice that this... isn't licensed by Nintendo, therefore we cannot use information like the ones found in the cool game guide inserts. Sure they have stuff like actual interviews to Nintendo's staff and game reviews, but... does that justify the coverage? I mean, we already have magazines that aren't necessarily licensed by Nintendo, such as Mycom BASIC Magazine and Famitsu, but I wouldn't say that every magazine covering Nintendo should get an article. At the very least, if more of these get made, they should at least include some official and Mario-relevant content. SuperGamer18 (talk) 14:08, April 10, 2026 (UTC)
Welp... then I think it's not worth the trouble, then. Official-official Nintendo stuff just a couple of interviews. Most of the content is staff's reviews, previews and, again, the cool guide inserts. We could maybe do like a list page for the unlicensed magazines with such coverage, but I think this has to go. Y'know, that could actually be useful for citations of, for example, release dates. Might need a proposal however (if you want, I could co-author it with you). SuperGamer18 (talk) 14:55, April 10, 2026 (UTC)
For a bit of context, Mycom BASIC Magazine is here mostly because it's associated with Hudson Soft's titles for Japanese home computers, being the main contemporary source (or at least, the most well-preserved one) for those titles. Whether or not we think its situation is applicable to Game Power hinges almost entirely on if there's any information otherwise not readily accessible without it. Like Maruigi asked, did they do any interviews with Nintendo employees? Do they list precise release dates we didn't already know of? If so, great, and we think it's worth at least a base-line acknowledgement. Otherwise, uh, yeah, this page has no legs to stand on. ;P Camwoodstock-sigicon.png~Camwoodstock ( talk contribs ) Camwoodstock-sigicon2.png 17:31, April 15, 2026 (UTC)
