Minigame 5 is the fifth minigame course in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!. It is unlocked in Sandstorm Steps after collecting all nine Mini Mario Cards in the attraction.

This minigame contains score boxes with point multipliers, which the Minis must be guided to while avoiding the Minus Boxes. It features Mini Marios, Mini Toads, Mini Peaches, and Mini Donkey Kongs.

Layout

The room contains five pipes at the top that dispense Minis straight down. There are three different elevations containing four Red Girder Rivets each, but with different spacings: the top rivets are bunched in pairs on the sides of the room, the middle rivets are either on the far left or right or close to the center, and the bottom rivets are evenly spaced with no rivets on the far left or right. In order to earn points, the player must connect the Red Girder Rivets to build Red Girders and guide each Mini to the toy boxes. Two Red Girders are already constructed at the beginning of the game. In total, the player has 12 Red Girder pieces to work with.

In Plus Mode, spikes are added below each toy box, and only four toy boxes appear each time they are reassigned. This exposes spike pits which cause a Mini to be destroyed upon contact, leading to a Game Over.

Goal Scores

At the end of the minigame, the player earns M-Tokens depending on the score they reach and the game mode in which the minigame is played.
