Locked Out is a Battle minigame in Mario Party 3.

Overview[edit]

In three rooms, players try to grab a key with a mark matching the door design to continue onward. Every room has one key fewer than however many players are present. If a player is punched by an opponent, they drop their key. In each room, any player who does not manage to enter a room is eliminated. The player who makes it through all three rooms wins. If no one enters a door in the first room before time is up, it is a draw, and if only one player has entered a door, they win by default.

Controls[edit]

  • Control Stick – Move
  • A Button – Get key / Drop key
  • B Button – Attack

In-game text[edit]

  • Game Rules"Grab a key, then open a door! The mark on the key must match the door, or it won't open!"
  • Advice"If you attack a character, he or she will drop the key! Steal a key when you get the chance!"
