Eye Sore is a Battle minigame found in Mario Party 3.

Overview[edit]

Players compete to run around a Mr. I, shrinking him gradually until he finally disappears after being circled 15 times.[1] As the minigame progresses, Podoboos fall down onto the floor as obstacles before disappearing after some time. A player gets stunned if they touch either the Mr. I or a Podoboo. When a player wins a lap first, they earn 70 percent of the wagered coins.

Controls[edit]

  • Control Stick – Move

In-game text[edit]

  • Game Rules"Run circles around Big Mr. I to shrink him down to size! Complete 15 laps to make Big Mr. I vanish completely!"
  • Advice"If you bump into Big Mr. I or a Podoboo, you'll fall down and lose time, so watch out!"

Naming[edit]

"Eye Sore" is derived from the word "eyesore," a descriptor targeted at something the speaker deems noticeably ugly.

Notes[edit]

  • This is the only minigame where characters only utter their secondary despair shouts when they get attacked. This is more noticeable with Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Wario, whose secondary despair shouts are different from their primary ones.
