Super Glider

The Super Glider is the default glider part for all karts in Mario Kart 7. It does not offer any stat boosts in any way, but like all the other gliders that appear in the game, it enables racers to go airborne for a brief time period. Its color scheme is determined by the character who is using it.You can activate it by driving onto a blue boost pad,if you press the R button at just the right time you'll also get a boost. The Super Glider returns in the upcoming Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, where the gliding mechanics return as well. It has the same design as in Mario Kart 7. [edit] Stat Boosts
