Hi! I'm BBQ Turtle, and I really love Mario Kart games. I love all of the really detailed courses, such as [[Coconut Mall]], [[Toad Harbor]] and [[Super Bell Subway]]. I also like the imaginary sponsor companies included within the courses, and, believe it or not, they have got me out of a sticky situation. I have a constantly growing collection of Mario figures and other merchandise, and decorate loads of my stuff with Mario symbols and characters.

==What I edit==
Hi! I'm BBQ Turtle, and I really love the Mario franchise. I may be slightly-sort-of-kind-of obsessed. I edit just about anything that I know something (Or, in the case of [[Candy Kong]], basically nothing) about, though you're most likely to find me sorting out [[Mario Kart (series)|Mario Kart]] and [[Mario & Sonic (series)|Mario & Sonic]] stuff, and am usually on spelling and grammar police patrol. I was promoted to a patroller on 27th July 2018, and once again to an administrator on 12th December 2019, so if you want to ask me anything, feel free and I'll try my best to answer.
I love browsing through all of the Mario Kart stuff, and adding bits and bobs I know and improving any pages that need a bit of a sort out. I also go to the lesser character pages that appear in Mario Kart and ensure that they all have correct information. I also edit other bits and bobs here and there.

Aside from that, I currently write the Anagrams section in the 'Shroom and have been doing so since Issue 128, and I'm usually trying to get involved with community projects like the Awards Committee and the Poll Committee as long as real life's not getting in the way. I pop up on the boards from time to time as well if you want to catch me there, under the exact same username, and I'm also on the Discord at times too, same username again. Other than that, I don't really buzz round the internet much, but if you want to see some more of my Mario-related art, you can check out my Deviant Art page, where I use the same (But slightly reformatted) Username: BBQ-Turtle.

===''Mario & Sonic'' coverage changes===
This is a rough plan of how I'm currently intending to go about cleaning up the coverage of the ''Mario & Sonic'' series, but it may change if I get any volunteers to help (hint, hint). This is just for reference and also so you can get a rough idea of my progress at any given time, but please note, this will be a ''very'' slow process, and the order may be subject to change.
*I'm planning on creating the remaining event pages base on the in-game order for 2014, 2016 Wii U (Currently being covered by {{User|Doomhiker}}) and 2020 Switch (Currently being covered by {{User|Power Flotzo}}) on a more occasional schedule. I'm considering taking a shot at doing 2016 Arcade from a series of fairly comprehensive looking YouTube videos I found, though at the moment I don't think I can get anything done about 2020 Arcade. Either way, I'm still looking to set up the groundwork at least for these in case anyone else can.
*I'm currently tying up the lose ends for 3DS 2012 (aside from images and media, help with those would be greatly appreciated!), and beginning to bring up that level of coverage for 2008 DS.
*I'm also trying to sort out coverage of locations, so if you'd like to weigh in or think you can help, take a look [[User:BBQ Turtle/Olympic Locations|here]].
