(Rw for clarification: 'possible orders' could be mistaken for card placements themselves instead of the shuffling animation. It seems to be fully random from testing)

Stacked Deck is a Battle minigame found in Mario Party 3. The name comes from the eponymous term, which is a deck of cards that is specifically arranged so that one specific player automatically gets a good hand and wins the card game in question.

Introduction[edit]

The introduction to Stacked Deck

The cards flip over, showing the players where the six Toads, two Boos, and four Baby Bowsers are on the cards. The characters on them then turn into question marks before the cards flip back over, and they all get shuffled in three possible animations. They are then placed in the playing field facedown.

Gameplay[edit]

The players are arranged in a line and take turns one at a time. Players have to ground-pound the cards that they pick, and whatever is on a card results in a different thing happening. A Toad card lets the player remain in the minigame until it is the player's next turn. A Boo card scares all the players, causing them to run away and the turn order to change. A Baby Bowser card eliminates the player from the minigame. If a player does not ground-pound a card within 10 seconds, Baby Bowser spawns automatically for the same purpose. The last player standing wins.
