Tsumiki Mario[1] is a series of Super Mario-themed wooden building blocks from the My Mario line of merchandise. Two sets were released in Japan at My Mario's launch on August 26, 2025: the Mario Wood Block Set containing three pieces that costs ¥2,980, and the Mario & Friends Wood Block Set (called the "Special Set" in Japan)[1] containing 30 pieces that costs ¥19,980. Three more character sets were later announced, containing three pieces each: the Luigi Wood Block Set, Peach Wood Block Set, and Yoshi Wood Block Set, also retailing for ¥2,980 apiece, to be released in Japan on November 18, 2025.[2]
The blocks are targeted towards children aged approximately 1½. Character blocks are eight centimeters tall (double the height of standard blocks) and also function as amiibo for their respective characters in compatible games. The Mario & Friends set's packaging, whose interior resembles the grassland levels of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, can be used as a diorama.[3]
