Yellow Rescue Squad Toad, Paper Mario: Color Splash

The Turnip is a Thing in Paper Mario: Color Splash. It is found at the start of the Sacred Forest stuck in a Warp Pipe. The yellow Rescue Squad captain attempts to pull it out, but is unable to without the rest of his squad. After Mario finds the rest of the squad and returns to the Sacred Forest, all of the yellow Rescue Squad pull on the turnip. With the additional help of Mario, they are able to pull the Turnip out. The Rescue Squad members all comment about the Turnip. Once the Turnip has been picked up, it is wrung out, refills Mario's paint, and becomes a colorless card. After Mario squeezes the Turnip, the yellow Rescue Squad are left upset. Once it has been used as a card, it returns to its position after it has been pulled out. It can also be purchased from the Wringer for 200 coins and sold as an unpainted card for 1 coin. A replica version of the Turnip can be collected from the Battle Spin.

When it is used in battle, the scenery changes to a kitchen with Mario and the enemies standing on a cutting board. After Mario notices the Turnip, he runs offscreen. The Turnip then gets sliced into many segments and attacks the enemies. After, the segment with the leaves spins across the screen as the screen falls into many pieces. The player can repeatedly press A Button while the Turnip segments are attacking to increase the damage dealt.

The Turnip can also be placed into the Prisma Museum, where it can be tested.
