Merge Lakitu Launch with Vs. Lakitu Launch

Both minigames are identical with gameplay, the only difference is number of players. Danger, Bob-omb! Danger! and Run, Bob-omb, Run! have the same article despite different names.

Merge

1. Remembered Old Buddy (talk) Per proposal.
2. Vs. Yoshi18 (talk) Per proposal, mainly due to the fact that this already applies to another article.
3. Iand255 (multiplayer) (talk) Per proposal. I support this merge for all the rest of the minigames in this situation as well.

@Remembered Old Buddy I would support a merge, but only if the others are as well. There are many more minigames that fit your criteria for merging, so I don't see why only this should be merged. It may not play the exact same as Lakitu Launch and Vs. Lakitu Launch but it's still a version of Lakitu Launch. If Vs. Lakitu Launch (a multiplayer version of Lakitu Launch that's the same as the original) gets merged, then Lakitu Launch (multiplayer) (a version of Lakitu Launch that's a bit different from the original) should as well. @Yoshi18 Lakitu Launch and Vs. Lakitu Launch are literally identical apart from the number of players. They play exactly the same. The other Lakitu Launch is a completely different mini-game. It shouldn't be merged with the other Lakitu Launch just because they share the same name, the very basic gameplay mechanic of launching things with the stylus, and the fact they're both based around Lakitu. Realistically, merging those two would be as much of a stretch as merging Super Mario Bros. and the Super Mario Bros. Game & Watch because they share the same name, are both platformers, and are both about saving the same princess. IanD255 (talk/contribs) 02:27, August 19, 2026 (UTC)
