Deep Sea Salvage is a 4-Player Coin-collecting minigame found in Mario Party 2.

Gameplay[edit]

Players pilot their submarines to grab Coins in the ocean as the Hammer Bro on a ship above the water throws Coins, coin bags, and mines. If players get hit by a mine, they are stunned for a few seconds. If players rapidly press the A Button button, the submarines rise toward the surface of the water, increasing the chances of collecting Coins (or getting hit by a mine). When the minigame ends, the players keep the Coins they collected.

In the Mini-Game Coaster, the player must collect 15 Coins to pass the minigame.

Controls[edit]

  • Control Stick – Sub direction
  • A Button (Repeatedly) – Surface

In-game text[edit]

  • Game Rules – "This is a Bonus Game! Pilot your submarines and grab the Coins the Hammer Bros. throw!"
  • Game Rules (Mini-Game Coaster) – "Pilot your submarine and salvage the Coins before they fall. Grab 15 Coins before time runs out to clear the game."
  • Advice – "Mines are cast along with the Coins. Hit one, and you'll stop dead in the water for a moment."
