"Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Terry Takeover: Part 1" is the fifth episode of The Play Nintendo Show on Play Nintendo's YouTube channel. This episode covers Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. This episode would get a sequel in the form of the eleventh episode.
Plot synopsis[edit]
Andrew Trego spins out of Izzy's warp pipe and introduces himself. He was going to introduce Izzy, but he is not present. Andrew assumes he overslept his alarm, causing him to improvise by quickly creating a sock puppet as materials fly in the opposite direction of him. Andrew introduces his sock puppet. When coming up with a name, Andrew places a piece of paper with "Fr" written on it next to Izzy's name tag, calling him Frizzy. Frizzy compliments Andrew for their given name and says he is handsome twice. Andrew then gets a call from Reggie Fils-Aimé on the Phone-tendo. Reggie says Andrew could use an extra hand on the show, and he is sending someone right over. Immediately afterwards, Terry enters the Casa de Nintendo. Andrew asks how Terry got here so early, but Terry interrupts him, stating he was late due to traffic. Terry hits the ? Block to reveal the topic of the "Terry & Frizzy's Top 5" segment to be the top 5 things to do in the Hoenn region as he been playing a lot of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.
For number 5, Andrew and Frizzy introduces the segment at the same time when Andrew was supposed to go first. Frizzy corrects their mistake. The pick chosen is Secret Bases.
For number 4, Frizzy says the secret bases were interesting stuff, which Andrew agrees with, so Frizzy says they should go to the number 4 pick, which is the Battle Maison. Andrew decides he wants to go there, and in a British accent, asks Frizzy to pull out the car. The car is heard to have crashed.
For number 3, Frizzy asks Andrew to guess what number is in is head. Andrew correctly answers 3, as the hand controlling Izzy was pointing 3 fingers. The number 3 pick is the Delta Episode. When Terry explains what the Delta Episode is, Andrew and Frizzy exclaim "Whoa!" many times. Andrew says Terry is blowing he and Frizzy's minds before Frizzy's mind actually blows up, with smoke emerging above him.
For number 2, Frizzy tells Andrew (who is eating a sandwich) to hurry chewing, as it is time for the second to last pick to be revealed, which is the Mirage spot. Andrew continues to eat the sandwich during the segment.
For number 1, Andrew says the countdown has been fun, and in celebration for reaching the last pick, Andrew gives Frizzy a High five, which hurts Frizzy and knocks them out, causing Andrew to preform CPR. The number 1 pick is the Soar Feature. After the explanation, Frizzy is seen soaring over a mountain.
With the ranking concluded, Andrew asks the viewer if they enjoyed the episode and to let them know what their favorite things to do in the Hoenn region are by commenting. Frizzy, Andrew, and Terry then call for Reggie, and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire are reviewed by Andrew. After the review, Terry crumples the script and tosses it into Izzy's warp pipe. Terry tells the viewer to keep the fun from this show going by visiting the Nintendo eShop on Wii U or Nintendo 3DS, and to say Frizzy sent them. Later than night, after the dance party ends, Izzy wakes up, realizes he overslept, and goes back to bed realizing the show already ended. The video ends with Izzy typing on a laptop and telling the viewer to like and subscribe.
