A Propeller Block is a type of block that appears in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It has the same function as a Propeller Mushroom; it allows the user to float in the air for a while. To use it, the player must pick it up (shaking the Wii Remote and pressing One Button) and hold it (by holding down One Button). Then, the user must shake the Wii Remote anytime in order to fly. This block is found at least once in each world (except for World 1), usually in stages where fog is found and in places where there are things floating or in places beyond the reach of the character.

The Super Mario 3D Land equivalent of the Propeller Block is the Propeller Box.
