Mrs. President was the First Lady of the United States of America during The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3, and is the wife of Mr. President. An animated version of her appeared in the episode "Reptiles in the Rose Garden", and was earlier mentioned by Sgt. Slaughter when he spoke to the President in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! live-action segment "Caught in a Draft". Though never called as such, Mrs. President is based upon Barbara Bush, the wife of George H. W.
