The Koopa Clown Car and Junior Clown Car are at least definitely considered separate machines - while the Junior Clown Car originally appeared as an unnamed smaller variant of the Koopa Clown Car, I believe it has gained enough of an identity at this point to deserve its own article.

metal or flesh?

okay, i'm just wondering if the clown car is metal or flesh, because the clown car's face moves 2 times.anyone know??Super Luigi!! LUGI IS WATCHING YOU.PREPARE TO DIE.BWA,HA,HA!

I'm pretty sure it's metal. There's no real basis for thinking it's made of flesh (as in, alive?): almost everything in the Marioverse has faces, many of which change (i.e. the hill in Super Mario World that grows and wears a bandage after Ludwig's castle smashes into it). I just assume it's magic, but I don't think there's any hard evidence pertaining to any of it - Nintendo's irritatingly lax about details like that. - Walkazo 01:07, 29 July 2009 (EDT)

okay, thanks. and I did mean alive. super luigi!!

Create a separate page for Koopa Clown

Since the other kart parts from the Mario Kart series have their own articles, it is only fair for the Koopa Clown from Mario Kart 7 to get one too. After all, the glider Waddle Wing has a separate page from the enemy Waddlewing.

Support

  1. BossBass (talk) Per my proposal.
  2. Mario7 (talk) Makes since. Mario Kart karts are also based on items, but are not actually those items. The Koopa Clown Car is not the same item as the kart in Mario Kart 7.
  3. Boo4761 (talk) The Waddlewing glider has a seperate page from the Waddlewing article. So why not this?
  4. Madz the Penguin (talk) Hmmm, seems reasonable. It's not the same as the Koopa Clown Car, so I think this is a smart idea.
  5. Toadbrigade5 (talk) per all
  6. SuperYoshiBros (talk) Per all.
  7. Glitchy Bowser Jr. (talk) Per all.
  8. 3D Player 2004 (talk) Per all.
  9. Ghost Jam (talk) I believe we already had a proposal calling for this sort of thing, so per that.
  10. Walkazo (talk) - Per all. Seems like a no-brainer.
  11. Yoshi876 (talk) Per proposal.

Split Koopa Clown Car and Junior Clown Car into separate articles

Support

  1. LinkTheLefty (talk) Per proposal.
  2. MarioComix (talk) Yeah, the Junior Clown Car features many doodads and machinery that the Koopa Clown Car may or may not have. And it's at least worth a mention that in SSB4 they talk about mass-produced Clown Cars.
  3. Toadbrigade5 (talk) Per all
  4. Baby Luigi (talk) Per proposal
  5. Lord Grammaticus (talk) Oh, definitely.
  6. Boo4761 (talk) Per all.
  7. Walkazo (talk) - Per all.
  8. 57sugoi (talk) Per all.

Why was the main image changed? Don't artworks take priority over screenshots?

Paper Koopa Clown Car

If we had a proposal to split the paper entities in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam then shouldn't the Paper Version of this (and the Junior Clown Car have pages for their paper varients for consistancy, or are they too minor? (Though the Paper Junior Clown Car is in a Boss battle, so). Chat Man (talk) 21:11, 22 November 2017 (EST)

Has it ever been referred to as a Paper Koopa Clown Car? BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 21:24, 22 November 2017 (EST)

I'm not sure, but Paper Luigi, was never refered to as Paper Luigi (or at least I don't think), and we have an article on him, let me do some more research. Chat Man (talk) 21:28, 22 November 2017 (EST)

I don't think we do paper incarnations on non-character subjects but I don't know much about the games so... BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 21:30, 22 November 2017 (EST)

I don't know if that was necessarily a rule. I don't have this game either unfortunately, but I know a lot about it. Chat Man (talk) 21:33, 22 November 2017 (EST)

I don't think it was ever a target. I haven't played the game at all past Paper Petey (due to that fight really wearing me out), so I can't say for sure. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 21:37, 22 November 2017 (EST)
I have beat the game, and as far as I know, it is unnamed and only appears in one scene, so I don't feel it is necessary to be split. It also acts exactly the same as the regular Koopa Clown Car. --A sprite of a Flame Chomp from New Super Mario Bros. Wii.TheFlameChomp (talk) 21:39, 22 November 2017 (EST)

That makes sense, but what about the Junior Clown car, it played a larger role and was even involved in an event where the regular varient was not. Chat Man (talk) 21:41, 22 November 2017 (EST)
