Flinger Painting is a Free-for-All minigame featured in Mario Party 9. Its name is a pun on "finger painting."

Introduction[edit]

The camera focuses on a canvas as it zooms out and the players walk into the place.

Gameplay[edit]

The players must shoot paintballs at the canvas. To shoot a paintball, the player must aim Wii Remote at the screen and press or hold A Button. Holding A Button allows the player to charge a shot and cover a larger area of the canvas with paint. At the end of the minigame, the player who colored the most of the canvas wins.

In Time Attack, the player must cover at least 90% of the canvas. To clear the bonus objective, ten shots or fewer must be made.
