Buddy Bounce is a Free-for-All minigame in Mario Party 9.
Overview[edit]
Players must bouncing on Bouncy Clouds and try to pop balloons by coming into contact with them to score points. The lowest row has balloons that are worth one point, the middle row has balloons that are worth three points, and the top row has balloons that are worth 10 points. The top row can be reached only by bouncing on another player. Balloons reappear five to seven seconds after being popped. After 30 seconds, the player with the highest score wins.
In the two- and three-player version of the minigame, the space is smaller and colored walls appear on either side of the field.

Notes[edit]
- The point balloons are very similar to the balloons in the New Super Mario Bros. Wii minigame 1-up Blast.
- It is possible to score more than 99 points in this minigame. If that is done, the counter can show only 99.
