The 'Shroom Spotlight

Hello, all you readers of The 'Shroom, and welcome to Spotlight. Spotlight is a community project which aims to fix up the articles on the wiki which have issues. These issues can range from poor writing, to a lack of images, to even just needing a credible source.
It's unbelievable that the Super Mario Wiki is now 20 years old! It's now as old as Super Mario Bros. was when this wiki was started back in 2005. For such a major milestone, we found it fitting to theme this month's focuses after the winners of this year's Mario Awards ceremony. Go check it out if you haven't already, the presentations were absolutely top-notch this year.
This past month, ThePowerPlayer (talk) lived up to their name by putting the Barrel Rocket's other appearances into orbit, jamming out to the songs that play on Jungle Retreat, and finding the One Piece Source for DK: King of Swing. In addition, Sparks (talk) elaborated on Dread Kong's battle, boosting our chances of beating this gorilla in a fight to 0.2%. Phew! Still, only 4 of the 10 focuses were completed. But hey, we're trying out 10 focuses again this month, so give it your best!

| Ironically, we have a fan to represent wind receiving the "Worst Obstacle" award. Specifically, we're looking for an image of the fans that appear in Stage 11 of Virtual Boy Wario Land. We hope that the collective disdain for wind won't prevent this focus from being completed. Maybe a fan of wind can connect with this fan. | ||
| Making her return from the Villains Special, it's the Shadow Queen with the "Favorite Non-Bowser Boss Battle" award! We'd like to give her a round of applause, but it seems that all of the hands are missing. We need images of her left and right hands, as well as the Dead Hands as they appear in the Nintendo Switch remake. | ||
| Look at that, Mario is congratulating Luigi for winning the "Favorite Major Character" award. Unfortunately, this image of this momentous occasion is just too big. It should be recaptured at the Nintendo Switch's standard resolution. | ||

| We all know the Koopa stomper who voiced Mario in the English version of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, winner of "Favorite Non-Game Media". But how do we know for sure that Sigbjørn Solheim voiced Diddy Kong in Norwegian, or that Bruno Ferreira voiced Uncle Tony in European Portuguese? These are only two of many, MANY unsourced voice actor roles. Even if we aren't able to completely rid this page of citation needed notices this month, let's try to stomp out as many as we can. |
Now just before we leave you, we'd like to tell you about unimplemented proposals. There are currently 33 that need to be implemented, dating as far back as 2021, so think of this as a continuous Spotlight goal until they're all completed. Additionally, there are many unresolved discussions that we would love to see come to some sort of conclusion. Some might have already concluded and just need the template removed, others have been waiting for a response for years. There are also thousands of articles with unsourced foreign names. They are found within this category, so please help out and add sources for them.
