The 'Shroom:Issue 190/The 'Shroom Spotlight
Hello readers of The 'Shroom, and welcome to Spotlight. Spotlight is a community project which aims to fix up the articles on the wiki which have issues. These issues can range from poor writing, to a lack of images, to even just needing a credible source.
We now start 2023, a new year and who knows what it will be bringing to us. I know what I hope it brings for us, and that would be less maintenance tags on articles as we use the Spotlight project to fix them up! We might be limited to six articles a month, self-imposed yes but no point overworking you wikians, so let's hope we get whatever 12 x 6 articles improved this year (maths is not my strong point).
If we keep things going like we did in December then we will meet this desire as all six of our focuses were improved. Although stalagmite was the name given, the article is actually called Rock spire and it was created by RealStuffMister (talk), who alongside Casual Koopa (talk) also improved the quality on File:NSLU Ice-Slide Expressway Screenshot.png. Meanwhile Guinness World Records received a massive overhaul from 0blivion (talk) and ThePowerPlayer (talk), the latter of whom also improved Hot Fraun while the former fixed the dead link on The Legend of Zelda x Mario Kart 8. WildWario (talk) added plenty of images to Icicle with Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) also contributing.

| I don't have too much experience with this game, but Merfle sounds like an important character and yet doesn't have much of an explanation of his appearance in the game. And it looks like he appears in some comics as well, and there's no mention of this on the article. | ||
| The e-Reader levels might be obscure but there is enough videos out there that we can give a better level layout than what is currently on this article. | ||
| While five short points might not be considered too long, upon reading them, a lot of them could be incorporated into the main body of the article. | ||
| Anyone want to attempt getting a rendered model of this Blue Yoshi from Mario Golf? I certainly hope so, and I hope he's happier than this one! | ||
| Who wouldn't want a holiday to start the year off? Well treat yourself to one if you can find a source for this to be called Shy Guy Ship, or is this just a conjectural name? |
Now just before I leave you, I'd like to tell you about unimplemented proposals. There are currently thirty-two that need to be implemented, dating as far back as 2018, so think of this as a continuous Spotlight goal until they're all completed. Additionally, there are many unresolved discussions that we would love to see come to some sort of conclusion. Some might have already concluded and just need the template removed, others have been waiting for a response for years.
