(First topic)[edit]

I think they qualify to get their own seperate articles. If you people think those pages will be bare, think again, I managed to do this, didn't I? Sorry if that sounded arrogant :P. Regardless, I think they should get their own articles. User:Pokemon DP/sig

But I don't think so... (merge pages for each Skillshot back here)[edit]

Brown Block This talk page proposal has already been settled. Please do not edit this section or its subsections. If you wish to discuss the article, please do so in a new section below the proposal.

Keep separate 0-5
Sorry @Crocodile Dippy, but they do look bare with just a description, mostly small screenshot of it in use (all of which were left untouched since it was first uploaded!), and a NIOL table. If those articles were made in the recent years, I'm pretty that they'd get deleted within hours of them being made. In fact, none of the Super, Mega, and Hyper Strikes has gotten their own articles either!

So yeah, I think they should be merged back here for being in the stub territory.

Score them in! (merge)[edit]

Let the goalie block! (keep separate)[edit]

  1. Salmancer (talk) Considering the proposal that let every named song have an article, I think we're okay with having short articles. I just read them all and I don't have many mechanical questions following doing so, so they can't be that bad. And I think there are people out there who want to see a Hyper Strike split because they have mechanical differences like the Skillshots.
  2. Camwoodstock (talk) Article length does not a merge make. Garish appearance does not a merge make. A merge like this would only make sense if we started to merge a lot of moves, which we don't really do.
  3. Nelsonic (talk) Per all. Short articles are different from stubs, as a stub is an incomplete article and a short article is just short in length.
  4. PrincessPeachFan (talk): Nope.
  5. Power Flotzo (talk) Per all.

Commentators' analysis[edit]

Of the affected articles, I think the only one that isn't good is Bullet Bill Blast. I put a stub template on it,

Did you have to @ Crocodile Dippy for something they said 18 years ago (given that the {{@}} template automatically notifies the mentioned user)? Their very own userpage says that they're retired on this wiki, their last edit they made on the wiki was 9 years ago.
Anyway, I think these header sections could be replaced with a table. Not sure if merging is entirely necessary. ArendLogoTransparent.pngrend (talk) (edits) 11:27, June 7, 2025 (EDT)

@Arend I don't think that person (please, don't assume someone's pronouns) would actually come in to see this anyway, given that it only notifies on the wiki itself and not through browsers and/or email. — Stache (talk) 22:23, June 11, 2025 (EDT)

Speaking of which, what do we do about the Super Strike article given that it's just a list of every one in the game? PrincessPeachFan (talk) 07:50, June 8, 2025 (EDT)

@PrincessPeachFan I think it could be expanded a bit on the mechanics and stuff around that, but as it stands I'm strongly against splitting each of them to their own pages for the same reason as this proposal. — Stache (talk) 22:23, June 11, 2025 (EDT)

@PrincessPeachFan @Power Flotzo Do both of you mind elaborating more with your votes? I feel that your written reasons are simply like "voted just for the sake of using the rights to vote" and rather spammy. — Stache (talk) 12:09, June 18, 2025 (EDT)

I voted "Per all" mainly because I agreed with the opposition's arguments, particularly those of the first three voters. Power Flotzo (talk) 14:36, June 18, 2025 (EDT)
