Accounts[edit]
Please stop making new accounts: just stick with one. Your old accounts Tantusar and Gongwonchong have been blocked. Is ComJacker also you? Unlike the others, the IP doesn't always overlap, but the computer itself seems to be the same. Please let us know if it's you so that we can block it. If you forget your password and need to make a new account in the future, please contact an admin so that the unusable account can be blocked. - Walkazo 22:40, 27 June 2015 (EDT)
I'm sorry, but nether of these blocked accounts are mine. I'm totally different person, please check my IP address again so if you think that this account are same as that blocked accounts above. Stache (talk) 23:01, 27 June 2015 (EDT)
Images[edit]
Hello, after uploading an image, please make sure it's included on at least one page, otherwise it goes unused and, if there's no place that can be found for them, will be deleted. There are galleries you can add them to. Mario JC 05:37, October 20, 2021 (EDT)

Nintendo Today rips[edit]
Hi, I'm curious how you got the extracted images from Nintendo Today at such a high resolution. When I tried extracting the APK, i can only find these images at a tiny size (for example, home_footer_mario.webp is 390x368 in the files I extracted). I even searched the name in the files to try and find a bigger version but that small one was the only result. Also do you know of a way to rip from the actual posts on the app? -- 11:21, March 31, 2025 (EDT)
- Play Store apps are distributed as an "Android App Bundle" or "split APKs", in which each app would be divided into these files for different device configurations:
- The base app
- Architecture-specific libraries (ARMv7/32-bit ARM, ARMv8/64-bit ARM, x86-64, etc.)
- Language resources
- Graphical resources for different display resolutions and densities
- The part of concern here is the fourth one. Based on your size mentioned, it appears that you got "mdpi" configuration, while the one I uploaded comes from the larrger "xxhdpi" configuration, which is what my phone (Galaxy Note10) has. I used a Play Store frontend "Aurora Store" along with its "Spoof manager" feature to make them think I have a different device, and then export the app bundle after downloading.
- As for the posts themselves, I think the way to do so is to either monitor network requests whenever the app loads data, or retrieve them from the app's cache storage. However both seems to require a rooted device, and as I couldn't get this app to work properly even with a VPN or lending a device in a country where this app is officially available, I wouldn't be able to do that until I found a way around those.

User:Stache/Patents[edit]
This is a great idea for a page! Keep it up! -- KOOPA CON CARNE 03:17, April 20, 2025 (EDT)
- Thank you! It's something that I've wanted to cover for some time now, but only got around to work on recently. My plan here is to gather the patents as much as I could find before publishing as a proper article, so it's going to be fairly a while before that happens, and as such any feedback on the layout, lead section, or something to add would be appreciated (if you have one, of course!) -- Stache (talk) 11:19, April 20, 2025 (EDT)
Special:Diff/4860046[edit]
Hey, so in this revision's comment, you appended a link to a web page that Mario Kart Tour embeds in-game as a news article. Do you have access to a directory of googleapis.com links to other in-game news articles that one can see without, say, rooting their phone? This would be useful in certain citations used on the wiki, such as here. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 17:47, May 25, 2025 (EDT)
- I got the link form someone else who has the ability to do so, and I don't think there's a publicly available archive for them. But upon my initial discovery, two of the known Firebase API buckets for this game's stuff has a listing of files that can be accessed (mkt-api2.appspot.com and mkt-api3.appspot.com), but nothing came up for the older news articles, so I need to investigate further on where they're located, probably by capturing network requests as the game loads a news article, which would likely need a rooted/jailbroken device or emulator.
