Priority[edit]
Since the Mario Party 8 Captain Shy Guy has been in one game while this Captain Shy Guy has been in two, should this one get priority? Scrooge200 (talk)

- The proposal done to decide the priority for the Captain Goombas reads "both characters appear in only one game each. At this point, I suggest keeping the identifier for now until either appears in another game, then we can truly decide what to do with the page titles." Now that this Captain Goomba is in both SS+BM and BIS+BJJ, I think it's time to bring this up again. Scrooge200 (talk)

- I don't really think being in one extra game, especially when we're dealing with amounts of appearances this low to begin with, is enough for identifier priority. Personally I would oppose a proposal to rename them. --

- Yeah, since I've never played a Mario Party game before and I have played the RPGs several times, I feel it would be out of personal bias if I voted for this. So I think we should play it safe and keep the names as is. Nightwicked Bowser

With Captain Goomba from the Mario & Luigi series omitting the "Mario & Luigi series" identifier a few months ago due to being a major character who appears in multiple games, in contrast to the minor NPC with the same name from Mario Party 8, I think it only makes sense for Captain Shy Guy from the Mario & Luigi series to also omit the "Mario & Luigi series" identifier due to also being a major character who appears in multiple games, in contrast to the minor NPC with the same name from Mario Party 8.
