Mario & Nintendo News A team of dataminers affiliated with the Super Mario Wiki has uncovered upcoming unannounced character costumes for Mario Kart Tour. Yoichi Kotabe served as the primary artist for the Super Mario franchise, drawing much of the 2D promotional artwork for the games and refining many of Shigeru Miyamoto's early sketches into the characters' definitive modern designs. Super Mario Bros. Special was originally developed without the segmented scrolling screen in mind, resulting in some levels having to be re-designed late into development. Raphael Rossatto, the Brazilian dub voice for Mario in Illumination's Super Mario films, chose to give Mario a classic Italian accent, unlike the original English version, as an homage to Charles Martinet.
