They look very similar to Swoopin' Stus and/or Poinks from Super Mario Sunshine, and act like Fuzzies from the Paper Mario series. Slurples have light blue skin, big eyes, and snouts. They move by bouncing and will attack by latching onto Mario and sucking health from him like alien leeches. In addition to damage, Mario's movement speed is slowed while a Slurple is attached to him. They can be defeated with a Star Spin or a flung Star Bit.
