List of microgame changes

General

Microgame-specific

  • Arrow Space's gameplay has merged with that of Drywall Dodge's from WarioWare: Twisted!, only level 1 is the same, level 2 has the ninja dodging falling walls, and level 3 has both the arrows and walls.
  • The watermelon in Body Block is replaced with sports balls: a soccer ball in the first level, a basketball in the second level and a volleyball in the third level. The person in each stage now dresses accordingly to match that sport and the backdrop is yellow. Additionally, the microgame's objective was slightly changed so that the ball must stay above the person, rather than simply keeping the ball onscreen.
  • In Bug Birdie, some of textures are now ancient-themed, the microgame's length is doubled, and wraparound is added.
  • The rocket in Hover for Cover is redesigned to resemble a girl's face on a bamboo rocket, likely in reference to Kaguya from The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter.
  • One Hit Wonder is now a boss microgame where the player must make three hits out of a possible five, and the visual theme is now different for each difficulty level.
  • The penguins in Paddle Parade are replaced with ducklings.
  • The alien in Stop! Go! now says "Watch out for my EYES!" instead of "Beware my watchful EYES!"
  • Strike a Chord features a violin instead of a guitar.
  • Stylus Hunt now has the player locate the stylus in various deviations of the Nintendo 3DS, rather than finding a button on a Game Boy Advance.
