Hi. What's your source for your names in other languages? I ask because you've re-added that French name of Paper Macho Bob-omb, which isn't named in-game and comes from internal data, and is not identified as a Parabomb in the English or Japanese files. Hello, PiNGOUiN. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:
When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]]or [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |

When uploading, select the license from the drop-down box below the summary text box, or add the license manually after uploading or if you're using the upload function from the text editor. For example, artwork of Mario would use {{character-artwork}}. Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Don't include multiple copyright templates; choose the one that you feel best fits the file. If you continue uploading files without applying the correct license, then a warning will be issued. - The category needs to be more specific than "Game images" and should be the actual game, remove any lines that you're not using like "Other versions (use file link)", and you don't need to type {{game-screenshot}} if you already selected it underneath (see here). Also, make sure you sign your comments on talk pages with four tildes (~~~~), even on your own talk page.

Please make sure to give your files descriptive file names, like "(media) (subject).png" (e.g. something like "TSMBM Bullet Bill.png" instead of just "Bulletbill.png"). Also, most of your Mario movie mages are very blurry/low-quality; try to avoid using low-quality videos for your images or enlarging the images, as this makes the blurriness more evident. Sorry, but I think it's better to have low quality images instead just nothing, if someone find a better quality, then he can put it over mine. Make sure the categories added to files are always "images" categories (so any image related to Mario Party is always "Category:Mario Party images"). "Characters" categories are only for character articles, not character images. Mario JC 09:35, June 16, 2023 (EDT)

JPG to PNG[edit]
I don't know how you're cropping the scans, but if you're saving the scans and cropping from them through a program, in the future, make sure they're in the same format as the scans were (so jpg, not png) as otherwise it can bloat the file size. This was evident with the version you uploaded for File:MP1Groupartworkwithoutthelogo.jpg, which was 3 MB larger; the smaller ones like the Boo and Dice Block aren't as drastic but they build up as more are uploaded. - It means to replace the JPGs with any official BMPs if available (which are converted to PNGs), not to convert the JPGs themselves to PNGs. Mario JC 10:23, June 18, 2023 (EDT)
Sorry to bother you in both discord and even here, but I use my computer now and found those images from Nintendo HK were still in JPG. May I know if you change the format of images during your crop again or you just found them as PNG?
And about the problem with file links, for example, this is a file link, and if you try to remove weird suffix in the link, here's the result, which original image displayed in normal.

Capitalisation[edit]
Avoid capitalising words in captions that aren't proper nouns or the first word of the caption, and make sure to keep them consistent with the rest of the gallery (the other images write "box art" in all lowercase, which is how it should be written). Mario JC 22:15, July 17, 2023 (EDT)
