Re: Thwack Sprites[edit]

You did a good job uploading sprites of Thwacks and the like, but when you upload images, keep in mind fixing the aboutfile template. Either fill in the parameters or delete the template altogether. BabyLuigiFire.png(T|C) 16:23, 4 January 2016 (EST)

I forgot to mention this, but you should also categorize your images in their respective games: ie your MLBIS sprites should have [[Category:Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story Images]] inputted under your aboutfile. But still, you're doing a good job and continue uploading images. BabyLuigiFire.png(T|C) 17:08, 5 January 2016 (EST)

Re:Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam[edit]

I don't have the game. In my region, the game isn't even out yet. So you're basically out of luck for now, unless Paper Jam releases in America. Even so, I have no plans in getting Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. You can however, try to find a game guide by Prima once the game comes out, that will probably tell you enemy stats. BabyLuigiFire.png(T|C) 13:19, 10 January 2016 (EST)

Image placement[edit]

Good work uploading the Paper Jam sprites. Please place images above the main text next time, as simply dumping them below takes up more space. Also, don't forget to italicise game titles like Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam next time as well; you can do this by clicking the letter "I" icon above the text box. Ashley pose SMM.png Mario JC

Bump[edit]

It's possible you missed my post so: You've been italicising the game title section headings but not any you mention in text (particularly Paper Jam). You need to do the same thing every time you write a game title (Also please read what I said above). It's one of the rules. Other that that, keep up the good work. Thanks. Ashley pose SMM.png Mario JC

Sprites[edit]

Thanks for that! I've also seen your post on your userpage, so double thanks for that! I'll consider doing those in the meantime, although one thing I need before making these sprites is some footage of of their idle animations so I can accurately reproduce them. I actually had to boot up Mario & Luigi: Dream Team to study their idle animations but I don't have a copy Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. I suppose I could just find the video myself, hah, but I'm gonna have to get off MarioWiki a bit for lunch so if you can fill in the time to help find a good depiction of the idle animations, it would be much appreciated! Thanks again! Mario Green.pngKaBoom! 16:57, 12 January 2016 (EST)

Re:Mario & Luigi:Paper Jam[edit]

To be honest, I don't know why they held off the release of this game. At least we got Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon first and I love it to death. Maybe take on a large project here or somewhere else or something. I'm making a pretty large project out of this wiki anyway. BabyLuigiFire.png(T|C) 17:29, 13 January 2016 (EST)

Reply[edit]

Regarding towards your message, I'm only adding enemy stats that are available at the time. Until a user gets the game's "Prima Game Guide", the remaining stats are going to wait. Alien Bunny Sprite.pngL151Onnanoko transparent WC98.png

Preview Button[edit]

As a suggestion, when editing a page (namely your User page, in this case), please use the "Show preview" button before saving so you don't make like ten edits in a row. And, if you do have to make ten edits in a row, please mark them as minor. Thanks. --TucayoSig.png The 'Shroom 18:56, 20 January 2016 (EST)

Hey[edit]

None of this is your fault, dude. I broke down because of real life, no one in this wiki is liable for the emotional damage I have succumbed to. I would love to talk to you again after I am not in an emotional trainwreck now. BabyLuigiFire.png(T|C) 22:29, 20 January 2016 (EST)

Mario Wiki in a real Paper Jam[edit]

Sorry, but I don't have the game, and I have no idea how to crack into 3DS ROMs for data mining. --Zootalo (talk) 23:11, 23 January 2016 (EST)

Paper Jam Bestiary[edit]

Hey, Madbird82! Thanks for completing the bestiary! Wow, you did a great job with it. You're free to create the bestiary page if you wish. --Zootalo (talk) 13:56, 26 March 2016 (EDT)

Re:What most do you like about Toadette? Also, Why did the Paper Mario series go out of history?[edit]

I think Toadette is much more pleasant on the ears than Toad. And she's the only Toadette (unlike the millions of Toads) so I tend to like her more. As for Paper Mario, who knows. Probably because Nintendo sees Mario as this happy-go-lucky series for kids that shouldn't appeal to adults with more mature themes as well. That's why they likely faked the results to the Super Paper Mario survey, because they were ashamed of Intelligent Systems trying to put dark elements in Mario games. Either way, Sticker Star is not a good game and they sure as heck shouldn't have made another one like it. --Fawfulthegreat64Logo.png 01:17, 17 May 2016 (EDT)

Bump...again[edit]

Also, Fawfulthegreat64, you forgot to add your signature at the end...and the time too. I'm being nice, but can you please make sure to add the sig & date to the post up above?

User talk:Madbird82 14:19, 7 May 2016 (EDT)

Re:Hey! Can you please crop more Mario & Luigi: Dream Team sprites?[edit]

Apologies about the signature. I usually remember those things, can't believe I forgot it.

Anyway. About the DT sprites, I am sorry to say I don't have direct access to the game's files, and thus most of that stuff I can't do. Some of it is possible, but don't beg for me to do it quickly because I have other things I need to attend to. Sorry.--Fawfulthegreat64Logo.png 01:17, 17 May 2016 (EDT)

Dream Team bestiary pictures[edit]

Wow! Where did you find these? Did you rip these yourself? I'll get around to uploading them when I get a chance.

Something I've been meaning to ask because I'm just curious: how exactly were you able to acquire the stats for the Shiny Paper enemies from Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam? --Zootalo (talk) 16:17, 14 July 2016 (EDT)

Please stop bothering me as I'm uploading the rest of the sprites for you. Thanks. --Zootalo (talk) 21:49, 14 July 2016 (EDT)

Paper Jam enemy stats[edit]

Hey, Madbird, so how exactly did you come up with the stats for the Shiny Paper enemies and the values from Easy Mode? Did you carefully test how much damage was inflicted against the enemies and the Mario Bros.? Did you perhaps use a certain formula, or some hacking tool beyond the 3DS itself? No offense, but the whole "calculating in my head" statement really isn't a good enough explanation, especially if there's nothing the wiki can refer to for confirmation... How would anybody know these values are even correct? --Zootalo (talk) 12:25, 15 July 2016 (EDT)

I meant that I used a calculator to calculate them by "X+percentage=Y". Besides, I do know mathematics very well, Zootalo. And yes, I carefully tested on how much damage was inflicted against the enemies, but only the Paper Ninji and Paper Boo.

User talk:Madbird82 18:47, 15 July 2016 (EDT)

If that's the case, let's see a detailed example or formula you use to get the values for a Shiny Paper enemy (based on a regular Paper enemy)! Certainly there would be more variables than just "X+percentage=Y" -- you would also have to take into account defense, and whether or not the amount of damage inflicted by enemies is constant. --Zootalo (talk) 18:56, 15 July 2016 (EDT)
You mean to tell me, then, going by your percentages, because I never played Paper Jam anyway: if an ordinary Paper enemy consistently inflicts, say, 10 damage, the Shiny Paper version inflicts 15. And I presume, to gather the S.P. enemies' HP values (perhaps against the values Jdaster64 listed) would be a careful use of damage inflicting Battle Cards, right (which would also apply to their copies)? And for DEF, it would be just measuring how much damage the enemies would take against each other (i.e. Mario inflicts 20 damage against a regular, and 10 for S.P.)? For SPEED, would be consuming enough Speed Beans to eventually be faster than the S.P. version and gathering their SPEED value based on that? EXP and Coin values, those would be incredibly easy to calculate. With these percentages, then, you would confirm them with any Shiny Paper enemy you would encounter. Something like that? --Zootalo (talk) 19:37, 15 July 2016 (EDT)

Re: The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! Transcripts[edit]

I will get back to you on that. And may I ask, why don't you sign in to your account rather than posting the question while logged out?

I'm sorry, but we do not allow full scripts of games, shows and other media. Please refer to this post on the MarioWiki forums.

Re:Re:Anvil throwing Monolift[edit]

Sorry for the late reply. I just wanted to say thank you for the complement it's not much but still. Also why did you ask the question anonymously instead of using you actual account? The RPG Gamer (talk) (edits) MLPJKingBoo.png 02:49, 25 August 2016 (EDT)

I already told you! My mom banned me seven months ago! User talk:Madbird82 21:05, 27 July 2016 (EDT)

Okay here's my advice. Who cares what your parents think. It's just a wiki, go on it all you want and don't let some shit from your parents get to you. If you rich and spoiled going on a wiki won't get to you your parents will so my advice is create another account (my suggestion MadBird82 if you want to maintain your old name). And if you want request the original to be blocked and don't tell your mom about this. I went though a similar thing when I started my YouTube channel and now my mother is fine with it. (I hope this helps). Kind regards The RPG Gamer (talk) (edits) MLPJKingBoo.png 21:11, 27 August 2016 (EDT)
FM, that is terrible advice... What if he's banned because he did something wrong? In which case, going onto the wiki would only worsen the matter.
My suggestion is for him to talk to his mother (I'm also assuming you're a boy, idk sorry). If he really want to edit on this wiki but his mom won't let him, maybe they can work out a different punishment. Or you could wait for your "ban" to be over.
But whatever happens if up to Madbird. His choice. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 22:17, 27 August 2016 (EDT)
Commonly from what I've been seeing lately parents ban their children from sites for their own safety so I thought that this may'nt be an exception. Same thing happened with me when I started my YouTube channel in 2010 but now my mom lets me use it. The RPG Gamer (talk) (edits) MLPJKingBoo.png 03:58, 28 August 2016 (EDT)

Logging in[edit]

Hello. You must log in to your account, rather than editing anonymously. If you have an account, all contributions and talk messages must be attributed to one account and that account only. You say that your mother "banned" you from using your account, but that is no excuse to edit anonmously instead. If you shouldn't actually be here, then you should not be here: simple. If this happens again, then I will have to enforce a block will prevent your IPs from editing anonymously.

Thank you,

The Bestiary Proposal[edit]

Please see my discussion about a proposal for the wiki's bestiaries and tell me what you think in my talk page.
User talk:Yoshi the Space Station Manager
Also, take a look at how the profiles for each bestiary will look like here --> User:Eldritchdraaks/bestiary
And to see how the enemy boxes will appear on each page they are placed on, look here --> User:Eldritchdraaks/enemy
Take a good look at the source code on those pages. --EldritchdraaksSig1.pngEldritchdraaksSig2.png 00:45, 21 November 2016 (EST)

I'm no longer editing on Super Mario wiki[edit]

Confession time: I am no longer editing. Why? Because I realized editing anonymously was a BAD choice. And let's face it. I decided to stop editing when I saw that YoshiKong was telling me to log in. Besides, if YoshiKong wanted me to stop being on this wiki, then I am putting an end to my editing thing I've done since the beginning of the year. If I was gonna have my IP address blocked, that's fine with me. I still wanted to add up the in-battle quotes for Paper Mario: Color Splash, though. I hoped that you've enjoyed my edits, and goodbye.

User talk:Madbird82 16:07, 10 December 2016 (EDT)

Despite this, you're still editing anonymously. You must log in so that all your contributions can be logged to one user.
Also, YoshiKong (who at this point goes by Shokora (talk)) doesn't want you to stop editing. No one wants you to stop I think. He just wanted you to log in. No big deal. Keep editing anonymously, though, and you will end up having your IP blocked eventually. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 15:51, 11 December 2016 (EST)

Alright! I actually LIED!!! I was doing minor edits because there were some minor errors on the Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam bestiary. And I am going to STOP MY editing once and for all! (Hopefully, we'll NEVER speak of this again.) Truly, this is goodbye. User talk:Madbird82 16:18, 11 December 2016 (EDT)

Thanks for that, btw. I didn't even notice I made those errors when converting the bestiary over.--EldritchdraaksSig1.pngEldritchdraaksSig2.png 16:23, 11 December 2016 (EST)
I hope you like the new paper sprites, btw.--EldritchdraaksSig1.pngEldritchdraaksSig2.png 16:24, 11 December 2016 (EST)
