Welcome to my user page! I joined the wiki in 2021 and made some small fixes. Once the Switch version of The Thousand-Year Door released, I made a few small contributions. Mario & Luigi: Brothership releasing is what got me to start doing larger specialized contributions, starting with adding more info to Battle Plugs alongside moving and reuploading all the plug icons. This then led to me discovering that the wiki's technical coverage of classic Paper Mario games and the Mario & Luigi series could be better. After being shocked that this wasn't covered on the wiki, I did a lot of research and ended up making the Lucky Hit article.

Major contributions
- Battle Plug (did a lot of in-game testing)
- STACHE-Up (created)
- LUCKY (hit) (created)
- List of Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time gear (got in-game descriptions from a text dump and sourced badge effects)
- List of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story gear (added in-game descriptions and did a lot of in-game testing)
- Woohoo Hooniversity (added block research rooms section, as this was not documented in-depth somehow)
- Rank (ripped and uploaded the icons for Dream Team, Paper Jam, and Bowser's Inside Story DX. Brothership icons were gotten from the Spriters Resource)
- Ripping and uploading the icons for the Paper Jam Bros. and Trio Attacks.
- Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (added the intro story of the ancient town and great cataclysm. This was somehow missing despite being one of the biggest parts of the story.)
- List of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey gear (biggest edit yet that added detailed info for almost all gear. WOW the in-game descriptions are so bad, while many unassuming gear items are wack. Softener Gloves...)
- Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story bestiary (noticed some oddities on the article and left a talk page comment. I eventually stumbled across the Prima Guide at a local place, which answered EVERYTHING.)
- List of shops in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time (added tables of the shop inventories and when items become available. This was missing from this article and the related ones for over 15 years.)
To do list
I will totally look like a fool if I write all this stuff down and never get around to doing it on this wiki...
- Finish sandboxes of M&L "meter badge" mechanics...once I get around to other things to do...
- Get all the images I have uploaded onto the related subject galleries. I'm planning on doing this if I feel that uploading the Bowser's Inside Story DX attack icons is needed so that it can all be done in one sweep.
- Upload screenshots of Bowser's Inside Story DX to get all the "needs more images" tags off location subjects.
- Get the Guard and Superguard frame data from Talk:Unsimplifier into the related articles.
- Explain at Talk:Palace of Shadow Tower how the internal order of rooms and strings appears to be the official order of the GameCube version's 8 line hidden message, and ask about the JP version of the message.
- Update List of shops in BIS, List of shops in BISDX, and List of BIS gear to include the story unlock requirements.
- Create the "List of shops in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga" article, which does not exist yet somehow.
- Use transclusions for M&L series list of shop articles to cut down on the duplication of content across the wiki and make it easier to maintain.
- Figure out how to integrate and reference the spreadsheet I made of Bowser's Inside Story DX data for the relevant articles. This is an incredible resource.
- Use this to fix Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey bestiary not having the "KO?" stat for enemies despite it existing and being SO niche.
Larger ideas
Ideas that likely require discussion from how unusual they are.
- Make a critical hit article for the Mario & Luigi series. There is a critical hit article on the wiki already, but that is a redirect to Super Smash Bros. Final Smashes...
- Do something about Mario & Luigi navigation templates putting items in alphabetical order instead of breaking it to have something like Mushroom (Super • Ultra • Max).
- Merge Brawl Point into Bros. Point, primarily because of how much it sucks to work around the original Bowser's Inside Story calling both Special Point, a deprecated term on this wiki. Also, HORN is merged into STACHE, which is an inconsistent standard.
- Recurring themes are eligible for articles. "An Awfully Long Time Ago...", the intro story theme of The Thousand-Year Door, which is in a few songs in GameCube but is a recurring motif throughout the Switch version, is not eligible for an article just because the recurring theme requirements are...interesting.
- Per proposal, named songs can now have articles made.
- The Switch version of The Thousand-Year Door has an in-universe font that can be deciphered into actual text, giving the world more detail. Examples of this font appearing are the storybook intro and ending (the narration and the book in the intro are the same text) and this wanted poster of Mario (which says Mario). The ending storybook scene has entirely new text that includes a "thank you for playing", confirming the developers intended fans to figure this out. Inkipedia has an article going in-depth to a similar thing throughout the Splatoon series, so I feel like this could be an article here.
- Donkey Kong Bananza has a similar thing going on with its "banana script" (made up name), primarily visible on disc art in the music player.
- Do something about basically every Bowser's body location article claiming to know what body part corresponds to each location, which all seems to be [citation needed].
- The inhale move that Bowser uses in Bowser's Inside Story is split across Vacuum Shroom ("power-up?" needed for move) and Vacuum Block (item needed to use the move in-battle). Inhale is a Super Smash Bros. disambig, and Vacuum is a Sticker Star thing, which both do not have links leading lost readers to the BIS move. This gets more complicated as Bowletta does an inhale-like move before the battle with Cackletta Soul, Dark Bowser can use the move, and Bowser STILL has and uses the move in Dream Team.
Final Boss idea
I'm probably never going to get the answer to this (it was likely a conjectural name made up by an editor years ago), but there's one thing I still want to know:
Where did the name "Riddle Tower" come from, referring to the place now officially known as Palace of Shadow Tower?Solved??? It was likely a conjectural name that was not marked as such. As a result, readers treated the name as fact and it spread all over the internet. Figure out how to discuss this topic and use it as an example warning for how misinformation can spread.
3DS Mario & Luigi icon reuse
With the help of User:Camwoodstock providing item icons of Superstar Saga DX to me, I was able to confirm what item icons are reused across the 4 3DS Mario & Luigi games. This helps cut down on duplicate files on the wiki.
| Subject | DT | PJ | SSDX | BISDX |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mushroom | First | Reused from DT | Different | Reused from DT |
| Nut | First | Reused from DT | Different | Reused from DT |
| Syrup | First | Reused from DT | Different | Reused from DT |

| Refreshing Herb | First | Reused from DT | Different | Different again |
| Boo Biscuit | First | Reused from DT | Different | Different again |
| Subject | DT | PJ | BISDX |

| Power | First | Reused from DT | Reused from DT |
| Defense | First | Reused from DT | Different |
| Speed | First | Reused from DT | Different |
| Stache/Flex | First | Reused from DT | Different |
Affected files
Keep and update these to mention their reuse. These are Dream Team assets. All beans here do not have a game identifier, and Defense Bean is misspelled as Defence Bean in the filename.
These are Superstar Saga DX assets to keep. Apparently only the Refreshing Herb was already on the wiki. The Boo Biscuit in this game is unique, so don't forget that one.
These are Bowser's Inside Story DX assets to delete and replace with Dream Team versions. It seems that these are being used for Superstar Saga DX articles, so don't mass replace these with Dream Team assets at first.
These are Bowser's Inside Story DX assets to keep. The Boo Biscuit is being used for a few Superstar Saga DX articles, but should not take long to fix.
Mario & Luigi series "profiles and statistics" idea
Maybe items like Max Mushroom could have something like this to make it easier to find this info instead of using sentence format for data?
