Hello, I am Lumi, a self-appointed researcher and cartographer of Mario Kart World. I am a video game aficionado, with probably close to 700 games across my various libraries (Steam, 3DS, Switch, Xbox, Epic, et al). I enjoy documenting, organizing and cataloguing information about whichever game is my current hyperfixation. I also do a bit of modding and datamining, though you won't see that from me in this wiki.

I mostly play my games on PC, OG Switch, or 3DS, but I bought a Switch 2 in July 2026 after months of itching to get my hands on the new Mario Kart. Since then, I have fully delved into understanding what makes the game tick, from Dash Food and Outfits, to Traffic and Pedestrians, to Course Elements, and more. My biggest project on this subject matter, my own interactive map, unfortunately lives off the wiki for now (until we get DataMaps).
