Mario Party DS[edit]

A word of advice, if you see a new character on Wikipedia, wait at least a day before adding it. It might be vandalism. My Bloody Valentine

Hmmm... you remembered what I said!Knife (talk) 12:56, 4 August 2007 (EDT)

Yep. I decided "Forget Wikipedia. Wait a week, it might be false." So, I had to put this notice up. My Bloody Valentine

In the movies and stuff, The players seem to be tiny. Should I make note? Max2 (talk)

On the board or in a mini-game? Board = yes. Mini-game = no.Knife (talk) 14:13, 19 August 2007 (EDT)

Um... what about the Minigame with that ham or whatever on the grill, or that one with the Giant Goombas, or the one with the giant pens... Max2 (talk) Woodya like me to go on?

Every minigame ive played has to do with them being tiny.

I found this story somewhere, then I saw it pop up on Wikipeida, but I forget where I saw it before Wikipedia:

The game begins with a peaceful day in the Mushroom Kingdom. However, King Bowser invites everyone to Peach's castle. They accept the invite and go to the castle. There, Bowser shrinks Mario and friends to the size of chess pieces. Mario and friends must gather the power of the stars to restore themselves to normal size and defeat Bowser.

I'm not sure if it is the real story right now, could someone confirm it for me? ~Uniju(T-C-E)

Judging by the images and minigames and such, it seems logical. Max2 (talk)

Yeah, did you even seen the one with the giant shy guy and some rolling thing!Mr. Guy the GuyPickle.png Talk!E

Hah, I just got done playing that minigame. Its a 3 on 1 minigame, where someone rolls a big thing of meat, and 3 other players have to not fall off.

Yes, Bowser & Bowser JR invite everyone to the castle for dinner, then bowser captures them and shrinks them. Pirhana board is the first one.

You can some screenshots! It's at The Mushroom!

Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection[edit]

The Boxart doesn't have the Wi-Fi Connection logo. Does this mean the game does not have Wi-Fi Connection? My Bloody Valentine

I dunno. Not everygame has to have Wi-Fi, you know. Max2 (talk)

...Er, I know that. I was asking that, because the article says it has Wi-Fi Connection, but the Box art says a differant story. No need to treat me like I'm a stereotype. My Bloody Valentine
I believe Nintendo has confirmed that it will have Wi-Fi. Tadaa!2.gifPlumberTadaaa!.gif 13:26, 29 September 2007 (EDT)

Could be Better[edit]

Daisy's official art[edit]

Before we have any more reverts, what are the respective sources for either the MP7 or MP8 art to be associated with this game? - Cobold (talk · contribs) 11:57, 16 September 2008 (EDT)

I've only checked the Japanese site, but there this artwork is used: [1]. Hey, and now I see where the Mario portrait in Captain Rainbow is from! :-D --Grandy02 13:09, 16 September 2008 (EDT)
I know that. That's also on the European sites. 60px-ArendLogoTransparent.pngrend (talk) (edits)

Ok, so what should we do? Remove or replace those images? C???

I tried to clarify in my edits that some of the arts for this game were previously seen in previous installments so there wouldn't be any confusion. I'm thinking only the game arts exclusive to the game should stay. --M. C. - "Mario Gals" Fan! User Page | Talk Page 10:23, 27 October 2008 (EDT)
I think that every artwork shown on everything official about the game should been added. For Pete's sake, WITH a tag if it's new or not. 60px-ArendLogoTransparent.pngrend (talk) (edits)

Minigame staff records[edit]

Should we put the staff records on the minigames that have them? YoshiwakerTyranitar.png 19:49, 5 December 2010 (UTC)

Diddy Kong[edit]

The artwork of Diddy Kong that this article uses is from Mario Kart Wii, and besides that, is not used for this game at all. Why is it being used here? DKPetey99DKPetey99TCE

No clue. Guess some editors wanted to fill an empty section. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 14:50, 6 January 2018 (EST)
Is there no official artwork of him from this game? Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 14:55, 6 January 2018 (EST)
There isn't. I checked this manual on Page 28. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 15:07, 6 January 2018 (EST)
Some of the artwork that manual and the game uses are from other games, such as Toadette's being from Mario Party 7, but there is nothing for Diddy. I don't think we should use random artwork to represent him. DKPetey99DKPetey99TCE
