Danger From Above is the third level of Ancient Gardens in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.
Layout[edit]
The first part of the level introduces the Hopper enemy, as well as the TactiCam, which allows the player to observe an area before a battle. It features a Ziggy at the front lines, as well as three Hoppers just behind it. This is also the first stage to feature elevated platforms, and the design of the stage, as well as its name, is a tutorial to help the player take advantage of high elevation.
The stage offers cover that is easily accessed by the player's party. The elevated platforms, which can be reached with Team Jump, allow both the allies and enemies to use a height advantage and inflict more damage. Additionally, the elevated platforms provide excellent cover with Brick Blocks at the end of the platform, making the elevated locations more desirable spots. In the meantime, players need to ensure they defeat Hoppers before they reach the higher spots, so the Brick Block that is immediately reachable on the first turn for easy cover is typically used to help damage the closest Ziggy before it moves. Once one allied member reaches the Brick Block, they can assist the other two allies with a Team Jump to help them reach the two alternate higher spots and dispatch the Ziggy before it takes its turn. Alternately, the Team Jump may help the teammates reach the partial cover located further down the stage for a more aggressive approach, but this leaves them open to damage from enemies, who will use Team Jump and target party members that reach those spots. Once enough enemies are cleared, characters on the elevated platforms may descend from them to continue pressuring and surrounding the remaining Hoppers, which rely on weak partial cover. The slightly elevated ramps provide some partial cover in a pinch.
The next part of the stage features a slightly larger map and three initial Ziggies, though they keep regenerating after each turn. Unlike the first part, this part's objective is to reach the area highlighted in yellow.
