Do you think an Unlockable article is acceptable, or not. I put it on this talk page because Unlockables are a Game Mechanic, right? I'm just asking. User:Pokemon DP/sig
Consider LUCKY (miss) [Enemy misses in Paper Mario] to be a game mechanic[edit]

We have an article for Lucky hits so why not one for Lucky misses? Like the lucky hits article, this one could also go over calculations pertaining to how likely it is to happen in the games it appears in and how the calculation is affected by "lucky badges" like Lucky Day. It should also include any additional functions that go into determining whether an enemy misses. I predict some will say that this is 'just an enemy missing' but I'd consider it to be different from a regular miss since it's impossible for Paper Mario enemies to miss unless the player gets a fairly rare 'LUCKY'.

- Lucky Yoshi (talk) Per proposal.
- EvieMaybe (talk) you know i love indepth game mechanic documentation
- Tails777 (talk) While I myself am not strong on figuring out calculations for such things (and by not strong, I mean practically incapable), I see this as a very useful idea. Per proposal.

Out of curiosity, would it cover other forms of evasion in the Paper Mario games? Stuff like Cloud Nine or Repel Gel lets you randomly evade enemy attacks without being "Lucky"; heck, Cloud Nine is even RNG-based like the "Lucky" misses.

- I would imagine it wouldn't include things like the Repel Gel/Boo Sheet, as those straight up make you invisible so that attacks will miss guarantee. But stuff like Dodgy or Cloud Nine could be covered because of their "may miss" nature.
Tails777 Talk to me!
I would prefer documentation on the calculations for Dodgy and Cloud Nine to be added to their respective pages but I would be okay with those calculations being mentioned on the "LUCKY (miss)" article as long as it's specified that they differ from it (being player caused random chance rather than completely random chance).--

- Dodgy, Dodgy Fog, and Cloud Nine calculations can be included but stuff like Bow's turn invisible ability should not be included. --Pizza Master (talk)
