World 7-2 is the second level of World 7 in Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels and the twenty-sixth level overall in said game.
Layout[edit]
World 7-2 is split between two sections. The first section has a horizontally moving lift that will loop around the area once the player steps onto it. Above the first pool of water is a ? Block containing a power-up. In order for the player to progress, they need to bounce off of the Koopa Paratroopas to reach a Warp Pipe. The pipe leads to an underground area with Coins and a power-up in the far left Brick Block in the row of Brick Blocks at the top. The Warp Pipe will take the player to the second area.
The second area has Lakitus and Fire Bars the player needs to avoid as they cross platforms with Koopa Troopas on them. The first two Fire Bars spin in different directions. After the third Fire Bar are falling platforms the player needs to cross to reach a stationary one. Then the player has to bounce off of a Koopa Paratroopa to reach a falling platform, followed by quickly jumping to a pipe with a Piranha Plant in it. After this pipe is a chasm with the Goal Pole on the other side.
