Variant of Thwomp

A Stone Elevator[1] is a type of Thwomp that appear in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. They are rectangular platforms that show a face and drop by applying weight onto them, and they do not hurt Link upon touching them. They are mainly found in the side-scrolling dungeons in these games, and often part of puzzles to clear. In Link's Awakening, a Stone Elevator only appears near the end of Bottle Grotto, where Link must carry a jar onto one to push it down. A larger Stone Elevator also makes an appearance in Four Swords Adventures, particularly in The Mountain Path. It slightly resembles the one in Link's Awakening, but has a light gray body and a slightly different facial expression resembling a Super Mario series Thwomp. It is also much larger via sprite distortion, requiring the four Links to stand on it together to move it.
